"The actual people in the room say it never happened..."

Okay.. seriously.. What type of logic is that.

2 guys kill a guy in a room... we ask them.. hey.. Did you 2 kill that guy in the room.. the 2 guys say.. "no.. it never happened" so we just move on and take their word for it.

Are you serious right now?

Ah, so they are all in on it... I see... but two anonymous ex officials not in the room is good enough though...
Like you said, are you serious right now?

were you in the room to dispute their claim? Absent that we have to take their word for it unless you have "evidence" to the contrary (evidence and not rumor or gossip).

Even worse is the nature of the info... Why the US banned laptops from US flights. That plot came from ISIS... Russia keeps saying they want to cooperate on ending ISIS and less we forget Russia has had several commercial airliners brought down by terrorists.

Wow, how terrible. telling another country of the dangers of their planes being blown out of the sky.

Nice strawmans argument. But nobody in "that room" was killed so try again.

I don't think he was being serious, because only an absolute fool desperate to cling onto anything that props up the political agenda would really believe anything untoward was done.

This one is going to back fire on the media...

Best not to use words like integrity... not something the left understand.

integrity.

You will need to explain to them what that is. After 8 years of Obama, Clinton, Holder, Rice etc its apparent they arent familiar with the term.

I always read news comments to get a sense of the public's understanding or lack of understanding. I have a huge problem with how the President is constantly undermined by the media who go far beyond free speech into treasonous slander of our very wonderful President. I feel we are in the very early stages of a civil war. I have never seen such vitriol coming from the American left and it worries me. He is the President of the United States and as the head of the executive branch I am of the opinion that he can classify and de-classify information as he sees fit. HE IS THE PRESIDENT!

There is a lot of bs in the story, such as "former US officials," so pray tell me how retired individuals who aren't even there could possibly know whether classified info was shared, since just as logic would so implore, "former" meaning no longer in active service, aka NOT PRESENT! There is something very dangerous about a news organization just publishing tripe without even having a basis in REALITY! In fact, if it were true that Trump felt it necessary to declassify this information for the Russians, then they have in fact put this "source" in more danger by blasting it across the world than the actual disclosure itself (if its even a true) which may have been necessary for a number of reasons.

WHAT IS THE WAPO and MEDIA DOING?! The Wapo with their joke slogan beneath thier title, "Democracy dies in darkness." Oh spare me the drama, we are a REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS, ONE NATION UNDER GOD! Start acting like it you sissies before you push this country to a place we don't want to go!

The liberal media put their money on Clinton and lost. Its bad enough she lost but what they ccant accept is who they lost to - Trump. Now the goal is to undermine his presidency any chance they get with the goal of impeachment.

The left apparently did not learn from their failures regarding the mood of the American people and how fed up they are of left leaning politics / policies.

Trump gets hit for his first 100 days...

All Obama did was go on an apology tour...

Carry on.

You are obviously no scholar of international law nor do you seem to have any knowledge about the sorts of deals in place that restrict sharing of foreign intelligence.

Agreed, he has done more in his first 100 days to improve the American position, further prosperity for all, than Obama, Bush 1, Bush 2, and Clinton could ever dream of. Thank the lord Clinton's hag of a wife lost the election, no doubt God looked upon our great nation and intervened. There was an awakening to the insanity and treason that has been done unto the American people for the last 30 years. I guess that movement isn't going to go quietly into the night, imagine if the right published articles like this of Obama who would of been worthy of impeachment for his treason against our greatest generation, apologizing to our enemies and bowing to kings. Just the mere thought of that, an American President bowing to a king, it makes me sick.

The most infuriating to me was when he cried about the Nagasaki and Hiroshima bombings to the world, completely ignoring the fact that it was in fact, Japan that brought that unto itself by attacking this peaceful nation and dragging us into a war which we were determined to stay out, yet won with all the might and virtue this nation could muster. He should of just not done anything, that would have had more honor, I would of stood there and told them they deserved it, don't let you forget history for you are doomed to repeat it. As horrific as it was, was necessary to end the war and it did. If Japan is forgetting that lesson, it was not helped by Obama.

God Bless President Trump, I truly hope he stands up to the media and tells them to shove it. This deserves a speech from our President, looking right into the eyes of the traitors and tell them, in no uncertain terms, how it is. Enough of this nonsense! The President will lead the way and I've had enough of the "unnamed sources and former officials" horse manure.

then make the argument as to why hes not correct. just stating something is false with no claims to back it up isnt going to refute a thing. linking to a twitter post is even worse. read what the people in the room have stated. as far as im aware from researching in this area he can do exactly what was claimed, fortunately the people in the room have come out and said everything in the story is completely false.

Actually any information provided to the US by foreign intelligence / governments / military's retain their classification level as a carry over. It still does not negate the fact that once in US hands the President can still discuss it publicly. It means the nation who provide it might not provide more.

Finally the peo0ple who were in the room when this occurred say it never happened so your legal source may want to brush up on lawyering 101 - never make a claim / ask a question you dont already know the answer to.

This is a non story the left / liberal media is using to push their russia bs.

Alan Dershowitz, professor emeritus at Harvard University, said that Trump is safe from criminal prosecution or impeachment because a President has the power to declassify intelligence.

www.cnn.com...

Not much context in that quote nor the videos. Serious, sure, as it is a "who you gonna believe" situation with a media outlet and the POTUS.

Ok I also don't understand everyone's logic when calling BS on anonymous sources or calling bs on a source title that doesn't give a name...

If you work for a company... and the company isndoingnsome shady stuff.. and you become a whistleblower.. Are you going to blow said whistle without anonymity? You could get fired, push back, star your reputation.

Members of Trumps own cabinet can be leaking this info to the press as anonymous.

Why would they give their name? So they can get fired lose their job and have their reputation ruined as a "rat"

Let's be logical.. no one Is giving any insider info on the president and his dealing without anonymity...

You are obviously no scholar at all.
Even IF classified information was shared, there is no legal basis to progress on.
