I'm in the cooking forum and animal forum too.
Yeah we're all just people at the end of the day aren't we. It's good to remember this.
This is me most of the time. I'm an outdoor girl always in the garden. Manicure always a wreck with dirt under my nails. Or in the kitchen cooking what I grow.
Politics is a passion and I love the debate but its not who we are as people.
Peace,
Karen

Now I'm googling warblers. Aren't they meadow birds?
The meadow birds inhabit the piedmont region west of me but we're retired so road trips are always on the menu.
Great post.
A lot of work

Larks are in nesting mode here at the moment and are a constant and noisy accompaniment on moorland walks. I wish we did get Humming Birds here. One of the most eye-catching birds we have is the Kingfisher which has a similar irridecence to the Hummers.

So I played the clip was trying to think about it then played it again; then heard it again but the clip was over and it kept going; my skylight is open and someone answered back and is currently going through a few different calls. That someone isn't saying what sort of bird they are however...

I was dive bombed by a screeching jay when I was a very young child because I went near its baby on the ground.
Ditto. They took my hat off. I got double-teamed.
These critters are little flying dinosaurs.
