Oh come on. There's like three of these about Obama and Hillary every day from suspect right-wing sites.

No one is getting locked up. Not Obama, not Hillary, not Trump. All these clowns we let lead us have too much dirt on each other for that to ever happen.

Or they get a guy like Scooter Libby to take the fall and then just pardon him.

It's a pipe dream.

I gave you a star because I see your point Pete. But I'm always hopeful for positive change.

Prove its fake

If Vegas was giving odds, the chances of this "Trump Indictment" would be given 9-to-1 odds of being FAKE NEWS, based on the history of left-wing publications publishing so many outright lies.

Just reporting what I am seeing, not saying the inditements are true.

FISA Court?

Beyond the bombshell-like nature of such a claim, many skeptics have latched on to two facets of the Taylor/Mensch story to criticize: the nature of what the Supremacy Clause actually does, and Taylor’s further claim in a tweet from last night that the indictment was issued by a FISA court.

Taylor would later issue a tweet thread retracting that statement, explaining that he had been mistaken over the details of which court issued the indictment.

He followed that apology up with a more detailed claim that indictments were prepared against “Trump, Manafort and Flynn—among others” by US Attorney Dana Boente out of the Eastern District of Virginia, a court frequently referred to as the “rocket docket” because of the speed with which cases typically move through its system.

Many skeptics have been crying foul because of the FISA court issue, but it should be noted that Mensch and Taylor’s original report does not mention FISA court, or any issuing court at all.

According to the metadata in the original article, it was posted just after 2:00am GMT on May 14th (or 10:00pm EST May 13th), and was edited at 2:41am GMT, as seen in the screenshot below. Did Mensch stealth-edit the post to remove an erroneous mention of FISA court?

Well, do you really think your conservative outlets like Inforwars and Breitbart would dare carry a story about this? Of course it will be the Trump hating outlets that carry it first. If this is true then conservative outlets will pick it up eventually because they would have no choice. If it is false, they'll still probably pick it up for laughs depending on how much attention it got.

But it's not about the outlet, this story is about two people, Claude and Louise.

As you quickly point out every other thread, the outlet is just as important as the story.

There seems to be something to this conspiracy theory after all.

Here is photographic evidence of the FISA Seal ordering 70 sealed indictments.

Hmmm...

While the statistics suggest that the source of this story is usually ahead of the curve, I will refrain from believing this is anything like what it appears to be, until I see that it definitely is, and with the origins of this story being unnamed individuals in the intelligence community (whom I have a loathing for which is only eclipsed by that I hold for dyed in the wool fascists and their apologists), I cannot look at this with anything other than suspicion.

Put another way, I have no opinion on the journalists, but in my estimation, anyone who has been a member of the global intelligence industry over the last ten to twenty years, is either the worst kind of dirt, or too weak of mind and spirit to oppose it, with only two notable exceptions, one of whom was jailed for having the balls (ironically) to stand up for what they believed in, and the other of whom lives in exile from a land he risked his safety to protect the rights of.

Louise Mensch.

Some of her other gems...

Putin ordering the murder of Andrew Breitbart.
Stephen Bannon and his associates were behind the spate of Jewish community center bomb threats.
Putin directed a catfishing scheme to entrap former congressman Anthony Weiner and thus plant emails from the Clinton campaign on his laptop.

It looks like the left is creating their own version of Alex Jones, only 100 times crazier.

The difference is that the center left will reject the wingnuts more definitively than the center right.

Ah, so you think social media posts are from actual human beings and reflect what those human beings actually think?

There are subpoenas out of the eastern district for flynns business records.
A subpoena is not an indictment.

See how this got turned into something it's not.

You know I don't support trump.
I also don't support fake news.

Or he's going to just up and quit.

how about we agree not to advance fake news from either side? . It's not like there have not been plenty of fake news from the right.
Why don't we just all agree to check sources for accuracy before we open a thread?

We could even adopt a motto for it.
Something like deny ignorance ???

Seems to me that the bull craps on both sides of the field.

Just requires some critical thinking.

They certainly do, but it seems more and more people are content to roll around in the bull crap.
