FBI Uninvites Trump After NBC Interview

President Trump was scheduled to visit FBI Headquarters, but his trip was cancelled after FBI officials warned Trump that he wouldn't be warmly greeted.

On Thursday after President Donald Trump gave an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt in which he trashed former FBI Director James Comey — calling Comey a “grandstander” and a “showboat” — the White House announced that Trump’s planned visit to FBI Headquarters has been canceled.

“The FBI told the White House the optics would not be good,” Alexander said. “FBI officials apparently said the president was unlikely to be greeted warmly after having just unceremoniously fired a very popular director.”

Trump was a private citizen. It was within his rights. No one in government was investigating Obama's birth certificate, much less the IC.

McCabe is biased, and that is poisonous to the FBI. He needs to go.

Yep. He's probably stirring the sh*tpot at the FBI as we speak. At the hearing, out of one side of his mouth, he said the bureau had confidence in Comey, but minutes later he admitted that many were very disappointed in the way Comey handled the investigation of Hillary Clinton.

When I saw the words "worried about the optics", I knew it must be a Democrat instigating the cancellation.
