the Annapolis firm raided by the FBI today is in fact Strategic Campaign Group. Dennis Whitfield is a Senior Advisor for Strategic Campaign Group, and he was previously a director for BKSH and Associates, according to Strategic Campaign Group’s own website). BKSH went on to become Prime Policy Group, according to SourceWatch.

Prime Policy Group was working for the government of Ukraine when it was being run by Russian puppet Viktor Yanukovich whom Paul Manafort helped get elected. And Prime Policy Group’s own website published a puff piece about Manafort and Roger Stone’s roles in the Donald Trump campaign heading into the Republican National Convention.

So there is/are connections, perhaps not so tenuous especially if the FBI now has it's neb in. Then there is the question of the capabilities of this firm re the internet and global connections. As for somebody suggesting money laundering forbye, I don't see why not, those type of transactions are happening everyday somewhere by anybody, including Governments. The smell just won't go away, it just gets smellier.

BTW. Charles R Black is also a name to conjure with, he goes way back in ultra right wing activity along with Stone and a few others, a couple of who have now popped their clogs...look him up.

Yet she was absolutely correct and reported the story before anyone else.

There was a raid and She is claiming it was for something else. sh egot any proof of her claim?

Also manafort and Stone might a done this under the radar and Trump has no knowledge of this as well. Like i said better a moron than a criminal anyday.

It is about a 2013 candidate for governor.

Rogers, whose firm has previously worked with campaign committees for Maryland House of Delegates and state Senate candidates, said the FBI investigation concerns work the firm performed during the 2013 Virginia gubernatorial campaign of former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, a Republican.

This PAC endorsed Cruz not Trump.

Historically that is their role, crimes that occur across state borders.

www.cbsnews.com...

In 2010 Cuccinelli received $55,500 in campaign contributions from Bobby Thompson, a director of the U.S. Navy Veterans Association (a veterans group under investigation). That case was eventually settled and the later case for $4500 is kind of small potatoes.
Don't want to get too overzealous at this point it could be the Annapolis firm did not have authority to use his name?

Only the FBI knows at this point so we'll have to wait and see what this is all about but the GOP is under investigation. Good. I hope they all are charged!

If that's the case then the FBI should be investigating the banking sector. They have been laundering drug money for decades.

Possibly. That is what the head of SCG says. Het settled a civil suit in that case in 2015..so this could be the FBI following up with a criminal case?

But it does seem aggressive for the FBI to be involved and raiding offices.

I will just note...this company being guilty of Shady practices in the past doesn't make them less likely to serve as a shell conduit for political funds originating from abroad..it makes them more likely.

That said..probably not Russia related..but curious all the same..
