Big business, the police and "rich people'" are the definition of power. The Tea Party was backed heavily by the Koch Brothers who may very well be the most powerful people in the country.

Rich, white, men run America.

If you don't believe that Christianity is one of the most powerful interests groups in the country I don't know what to tell you.

Not mindlessly. You are doing nothing but tossing out other people's actual hurt/injustice to try to make you (a non-gay non-Muslim) look like you care about them....and try to make conservatives look terrible.

You have yet to tell anyone what you have done in your life to show some compassion and make the lives of gay Muslims better.

I never took it as racist.. because I didn't assimilate the ape with being black or having slave chains.

I'm sorry, but that's horrible. Ill assume (dangerous I know) that they came through your door because they were invited in, otherwise its a crime and you responding with a wedgie is questionable, I'd recommend deadly force in a forced entry scenario. But I digress, if you would invite someone in and then assault them simply because they dress differently is reprehensible.

He can't be gay because he has children. People who are gay are not sexually excited by the opposite sex. He may be a bisexual but he's not gay.

Now he's not a Muslim if he regular attends a Christian church and does not practice anything that has to do with being a Muslim.

Logically, it could be the case the he's really is a gay Muslim. But since it is not factually true and is often a criticism made in a derogatory manner, there is only one conclusion. You many act innocent about the conclusion be it still smells like racism.

Well, it would only be exploitation if it were effective in convincing you of anything I was saying.

As soon as the customer referred to Alvin as an "ape" the conversation stopped being about business. That is my point. I would never use the word "ape" in referring to a black person. Would you? Why is it that you do not see using the word "ape" in that sentence and in that particular way is not a good thing to do? I guarantee if you I told Alvin what the guy said he would have pummeled the guy the next time he saw him in town.

That is totally preposterous. My grandfather was gay, yet he had children with my grandmother. He assumed the role of a straight man to avoid the blowback, but he was definitely gay, not bisexual. And I'm sure a politician could assume the role of a Christian, because they know they couldn't be President as a Muslim at this point in history. As the old saying goes, you can't judge a book by it's cover.
