Because Hillary is the lynchpin, the keystone. If she goes down, so does the vast majority of the DNC, and probably several in the GOP. Comey was her protection, though not by will but by threats. Now the ship just caught on fire and the rats are running around in circles trying to find somewhere they can jump off from.

Comey didn't do anything to protect her..... His actions directly hurt her.

Recommending she not be prosecuted for mishandling of classified data hurt her?

When that first happened, I knew she had something on Comey. Anyone else would have had prosecution recommended; Comey directly said so. He was being used by the Clinton's against his will and wound up hurting her instead of helping her.

I have come to the conclusion that either Obama simply didn't care during his second term, was totally clueless (my personal feeling), or Comey was doing what Obama wanted.

I think some people here are willing to take the Russian collusion to their grave.

Let's be honest, is there anything that would change their minds? They have invested way too much into the narrative.

Hillary herself could come out and say she made the entire thing up and they would still somehow cling on to it.

According to the letter, Trump thought he could not be an effective leader and they needed to find a new head to restore public confidence.

That sounds to me like he was fired over politics.

Comey did his job when it came to Clinton and he did his job when it came to the Russia issue.
