Man,I can see t-rex in my chickens every day. Reptiles laid eggs,birds evolved from reptiles, they still have scales on their legs,have lost their teeth because they wernt needed to deal with their food,and kept wings to escape predators and move from area to area to find food. You think terror birds were scary,search haast eagle,the biggest prey bird ever,then search giant moa,that's what the eagle preyed on. Its not a leap of faith the believe birds escaped the extinction event that dinosaurs didn't,except crocs of course.
