CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC refuse to air Trump’s ad over 'fake news' claim

Regardless of the outcome, I just know the courts wouldn't let him get away with it. I'm so thankful that our checks and balances haven't completely atrophied away, and I have a feeling they will be strengthened in the coming elections.

Literally every single political ad is fake news. Interesting they only selected this one to not air.

I don't think you know what that word means. CNN, for example, is the largest 24hr news network. Your comments suggest they don't need to take responsibility for.... anything. There is plenty of proof they colluded with the DNC in manipulating the prinary elections, feeding debate questions, perpetuating highly biased polls and polling methods, and even if you read their pad right now, every story reads like an editorial or opinion piece. But they dont want to be valled out for it, so they censor what theyll show. Now, define fascism for us please.

Seriously. I feel dirty after watching that.

That being said, a network refusing to air an ad is not a new thing. Their problem seems to be (as touched upon by Mrs. Trump) is that because Donald is the president of the United States, he deserves respect.

How goddamn ridiculous has this country gotten where the president wants to run a commercial patting himself on the back for, essentially, doing pretty much everything he shouldn't be doing. On top of this, he loudly insults the very news agencies he wants to air this propaganda.

what the hell is going on? A sitting president holding rallies? The whitehouse making commercials trying to paint itself in a more positive light? Jesus, even Bush didn't do this crap.

Well the FCC has a little rule that states DURING A ELECTION they HAVE to show the Ads Trump will make regardless of content.

BUT. As there are currently NO CONTENDERS to run against him they can refuse to show the ads. This might get the FCC to enact laws to force them to play official ads if they are offerred money to do so or it could be seen as discrimination due to political views. SOmething that is not legal.

The TV Networks are in denial. They still believe that most Americans watch and respect them. Wrong. That started changing even before Donald Trump. He merely confirmed that NBC-CBS-ABC-CNN are anti-American domestic terrorists.
