The great designer who designed the Catholic Church? In a way so there would be no checks and balances against pedophile priests? (Who were ultimately stopped only by the efforts of secular courts forcing their crimes to come to light.)

What does God tap them on the shoulder and say, hey you
God allows people free will, does God deny that and force them into ministry

The church has to answer to the earthly authority as well

For me...God is consciousness, and i didn't arrive at that conclusion by a creed.

I have just thought about it my whole life..... so consciousness/God told me,

ask and ye shall receive, all religions have truth in them, but they have "NOT" to be taken literally.

"The Golden rule" is one example of truth, that is in all religions.

Raggs i was a christian for 1/2 my life. Went every sunday plus was part of the Boys Brigade. I know Christianity.

In my example about rape, god is giving the rapist a get out of jail free card, whilst allowing the innocent child to live the rest of their life scarred physically and mentally.

When his so all powerful and loving, he could have stopped it before it happened. Instead watching the act and allowing it to occur time and time again around the world.

How is this love? Just? Right?
