Are you talking about some subset of liberals who are "fascists"? That wouuldn't make them liberals, will it? Since liberalism is about equal rights.
As I have stated (with that link I posted) they can go so far left the distinction gets blurry and they might act like fascists.

You can call him whatever you want, you're entitled to your free speech.

See how that works?

Yay! So we both can call them communists and fascists, regardless of which side they are on!
Yeah lets obfuscate the definitions! Yay!
Yeah we have free speech to obfuscate speech.

Just like the Nazi worldview was integrated into German universities through the National Socialist German Students' League, the propaganda ministries, leading to the rise in Nazism, the same could be said of the progressive worldview being integrated into Western universities, leading to Fascism.

gees, just look up the definition of fascism, don't take the right-wings definition of it. you can't have liberal fascists, it's like defining water as being a dry substance

Sounds like they are right.

Otherwise there would be nationalists for open borders, teetotalers for booze and Republican Democrats/Democratic Republicans.

Actually now that I think about it...

Academia breeds fascism...because students don't know sh*t

The Khmer Rouge[its modern incarnation in mid 20th century Cambodi] comes to mind...
It began as a group of college students in Paris...
And eventually reached its inevitable conclusion, mass genocide...

Literal utopias tend to have the same end point: millions of dead...
But all those who died didn't believe in communist ideals so who cares, right?
Don't report those pesky facts, liberals:
Genocide muddies the narrative that liberal fascism, I mean governance, is super duper...

Anyhow, every communist on earth begins as an ignorant liberal...ironically many are highly "educated" but their tendencies still mirror the likes of inbred sociopathic yokels Pot, Castro or Che to name a few...
Agree with my utopian ideals or die....how progressive.

-Chris

There is a huge difference between liberals (it's an economic ideology) and leftists (it's a political ideology). When the two are combined and one ideology controls the other is a simplistic definition for fascism (left or right).

Fascism is coming to America draped in Religion, as it often does. The war against free speech by the Trump administration is just the tip of the iceberg. Churches can now engage in political propaganda while remaining tax free.

Please don't forget big business (which has co-opted religion in many instances) is the key corrupting influence in politics of all kinds.

Christians are being put in camps if they speak Spanish.

Sources? And please, don't waste my time or yours by putting up examples where the person's Christianity is incidental, rather than essential, to their being put in camps.

Undocumented Mexicans (almost universally Christian) and their families are put in camps on a regular and growing basis. That is a FACT.

I would have to say that 'liberal' in the original sense has a tendency to fascism.

Classical liberalism is a political ideology and a branch of liberalism which advocates civil liberties under the rule of law, and emphasizes economic freedoms found in economic liberalism which is also called free market capitalismn.

Unregulated and unconstrained capitalism will always run to fascism.

Ah backpedling. Lel.
All right I'll let you slide this time.
Doesn't change the fact the majority is Christian. And the Fundamenetalist Christians are trying to meddle in politics, which is worrying.

why does that worry you? will you not tolerate a group that disagrees with you? are fundamentalists not Constitutionally allowed to participate in the process? or do you want them to hide in their churches while the left controls popular culture and ultimately the body politic?

does it worry you that Black churches that vote 99% democrat get involved in the process? does it worry you that unions that give million$ to the democrats get involved with the process?

if you're talking about illegal aliens being held in detention for repatriation...that's what all countries do, regardless of religion.

if you're talking about something else, source please.

I just have to reply to such a topic.

Fascism is a means to conserve an established political ideology that is passed its climax. That means that it serves the minority who has established themselves as the rich and the political elite.

The USA has been fascist for some time now. It can be argued when it began, but I would say back when the American Republic turned into the American Empire (which was the point of the US Civil War).

Fascism employs ignorance to control the perception of the masses on key issues, in order to continue propping up failing structures and bureaucracies. This ignorance is fuelled by fear. Fear is derived from misunderstanding. The fight or flight instinct is intentionally provoked on issues that threaten the establishment, and people are directed to fight against it.

The key weapon against ignorance is knowledge, wisdom, and the open mind; all of which are obtained through education.

Watching the masses turn against academia is one of the pinnacle tenants of fascism dictatorship in action. It is done to strip people of their capacity to think for themselves. People actually become convinced that education is brainwashing and a waste of time and money, and denounce those who have become the educated.

If it were the state itself going after academia, it would be a disaster for them. But when they convince the ignorant masses to turn against academia, it is viewed as necessary to maintain their freedom. Meanwhile, each successive generation lives their lives with less liberty and freedom, unable to understand what they have truly lost because they refuse to learn.

This is your fascism.

Fascism came to America in 1945, cloaked by Old Glory, under Operation Paperclip. From that moment onwards America has enjoyed being the worlds only superpower, thanks primarily to that operation.

Whilst we all debate the nuances of what defines 'fascism', and who best fits the description, a new entity has arisen - globalism. With globalism comes the ability to operate using aspects of fascism and communism (refer death count in Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Libya, Syria), aspects of capitalism (refer debt rates - every country), aspects of anarchy (refer antifa, Berkeley), and aspects of religion (refer Radical Islamic Terrorism) to achieve their means.

Globalism is fascism on steriods

May I submit that it already has?

But heres the thing: The young fascists dont know that there fasciststs. They think there liberals. Or lefties. But they smoke so much mary jane brain death they lack the critical faculties to realise that theyve been dooped into playing for the wrong team.

Universities are evil instituteions of vampyrism and they should be shut down immediately.

Why bring parties into it? Does it really matter which party try to meddle with our government? Both is equally as despicable. The right worry about Obama and his church. The left worry about Bush and others and their churches.
