I think it will take a president willing to be assassinated, maybe with a terminal disease, to make an EO that will ban lobbying.

People keep saying Healthcare is broken, but it seems to be working great for politicians. They not only get outstanding Healthcare and beni's, they can pick up commision as well, and polarize the public and get them chasing their tails!

Don't fix what ain't broken right...

They are going to change cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule 1B. With schedule 1B possession of any amount results will be an automatic 3 years in prison. This way the prison industrial complex can get their prisons completely full so they can then have their capital they need to build more prisons. This is going to be really good business.

Schedule I

Schedule I drugs have a high potential for abuse, as well as a high potential for severe dependence. As there’s no currently accepted medical use for these drugs, all possession or use is illegal. In other words, there’s no federal medical license available for Schedule I drugs. Some examples of Schedule I drugs are cannabis, ecstasy, heroin, and psychedelics (Mushrooms, '___', '___')

Ultimately, I think the solution lies with term limits with congress and the Supreme Court.

True that is step one.

Maybe also naming the bills like they do with sports stadiums now by their real sponsor, like the bank of America finance act etc....

So have we decided the solution is term limits, and a president with a terminal illness and no family to hold hostage? Someone the JFK screening won't effect when they sit down and tell them the rules.

Well that is an issue, but regulating drugs has always shown better results than prohibition.

It's just the unintended consequence of trying to make moral legislation.

The real thing that is destroying the country is an opioid epidemic largely responsible by the medical industry.

Maybe if rehab was not 7k a day people would go sooner.

Eventually Trump supporters are going to have to take responsibility for their ***** up!!!
Well it's kinda your # up too because you voted for someone who couldn't beat trump...

I'm sorry for your struggles. But that is an individual problem. Because some people --- a distinct minority become alcoholics isn't a good argument to make alcohol illegal when the majority of us can consume responsibly. Ditto with weed, gambling, online porn, sex, shopping, etc. My family has been ruined by tobacco. My mother, father and both brothers (one older, one younger) died because of conditions directly linked to smoking. Personal responsibility.

Some of us aren't real keen with having dope on every street corner. Even more are tired of paying welfare to stoned couch lizards. And even more are tired of the dumbing down of America's children. Pot is not the road to success, despite dopers claim to the contrary.

quoted the whole post cause its crap.
blame mj cause your son #s up?
nice

ruins families. smoke all day and all night....you gave your examples so let me give mine

my buddy works at a foundry. been there 18 years. has been working 17 hour shift. owns a nice house. kids are well adjusted. he smokes every day.
we were talking just the other day and i asked him how many times he has smoked before work or during the work day in 18 years. his answer was zero.

i wanted to compare it to mine. i have been in the foundries for 8 years. how many times have i smoked before work or during work hours? zero
my family is well adjusted and taken care off.

dont pawn your # off on other people my friend

and even if it is as terrible as you say and destroys lives.....so what? my life is not your problem..i dont need you worrying or advocating on my behalf for what is ok for me to do.

Thats not proof where is the interview? I can show you were Trump said it's a state issue and in fact he had an interview were he said hes 100 percent behind medical marijuana. So no speculation where did he say it? Sessions gave a warning about legalization but even he didnt say he was going to stop it. This is more fear mongering without evidence happens much to much now a days. ultimately its Trumps decision so until he says he is changing things its just a sad hit piece.

Some of us are not keen with having liquid dope on every shelf either, but some things seem to be too big to fail. The War on Drugs surely is one of them.
Forget your tired, your poor, your huddled masses - stoned couch lizards on wellfare. This is your Brave New Oligarchy in action, despite highly indoctrinated slaves claiming the contrary.
