Nope. And frankly, sex is enjoyable. Anyone should be able to enjoy sex without fear of unwanted pregnancy.

people should really take a look at how the poor and unwanted were treated in the early part of the 20th century with it's poor houses here and work houses in england and realize that women being given control over their own reproduction via birth control probably played a large part in seeing these atrocities vanish.

This is true on a global scale. When women have the opportunity to be educated and to be able to have income for themselves (work) and when they have access to good medical care for themselves and their children, they choose to have fewer children. This is one of the things undone by defunding "Let Girls Learn" which helped girls in poor areas of the world get to school.

ya, we still have foster homes, and we still have children who have no foster home to be place into, and we still have children waiting for adoption, but it's nothing like the horrors of the past.

It's still a pretty sad situation. Only a small percentage get a good foster home and good parents.

Soldiers are doing their job in the national interest. You would not have filled your home with lithium powered devices and very thing light weight screens would it not be for soldiers making the ultimate sacrifice around the globe, and are targeting specific criminal elements in the area of operation. Babies are quite literally the most vulnerable demographic of ANY species. Terminating a pregnancy is the literal killing of a vulnerable baby.

Adoption of American children is too expensive and the birth parents have too many rights. This needs to be fixed as well. Most of the adopted children I know are either foreign or adopted by family members.

That's not how it works. PP provides medical services to the poor. Donations help but tax dollars are king. Do you also want to take away Medicare/Medicaid and monies for the disabled? You know, the downtrodden and unfortunate? Do you have no empathy because you feel like you're paying for everyone? Are you just as outspoken against gov't waste, giving billions to the already bloated military/MIC, and corporate welfare, you know tax cuts for the rich?

They are able to offer abortions at a lower costs since their other costs are subsidized by tax dollars. They don't keep separate ledgers and accounts. It all goes to the same pot. It's indirectly funded by tax dollars.

PP survived off of private donations for more years than it's been subsidized by tax payer money. Yes, I am, actually. Except for corporate welfare/tax cuts for the rich. Corporations can provide more jobs if their taxes are cut. They are in it to grow and earn higher evaluations. More growth = more jobs.

I'm not attacking anyone at all. Planned Parenthood will still be here. You've already stated that donations are through the roof since it'll be defunded. They'll need to make a few cuts but it'll be privately funded like it was for 40 some years.

Now if we could turn this momentum around and get all of our troops home to debloat the military budget that'd be a nice change as well.

When they don't pay their fair share the burden is pushed onto the rest of America and that's why the middle class has been suffering for decades with no end in sight. Stop buying into the BS!

PP hasn't been defunded but the GOP and their ilk continue to try but federal judges continue to stop them. They can't rely alone on donations to support their facilities providing medical care to the poor. Donations are a big help but they need a steady income known as taxes.
