I'm the neighborhood contact waiting to hear back from the Water Company (that serves the county south of us) about allowing us to have a community garden on their "vacant" lot (it's a mowed, nicely fenced, flat lot that gets plenty of sun.

TODAY I LEARNED the answer: no. The WaterOne bigwigs said they don't want to bear the cost of insurance to have people walking around watering radishes and cukes because the mowers might go there and the gardeners might get hit by some projectile coming from the mowers.....because the gardeners are too stupid to get out of the way when a limb-amputating machine is racing up and down the field.....

and other nonsense.

sigh

NPR is pseudo-intelligent

They appeal to a controlled crowd.

They have their propaganda techniques down to a "science".

Letting states opt in or out of the mandates built into the ahca is a terrible idea. Causing a lot of chaos already!

Every Republican was elected based on repealing Obamacare. Either repeal it or throw another trillion dollars at the thing to fix it.
