Except you can see the glint in Colbert's eye. What's the word they like to use? "Bromance"?

He might still be an occasional guest commentator on Fox.

I was thinking more along the lines of his writer/producer work. He hasn't personally created anything in years.

I also thought the remark was hilarious, and especially ironic when comparing Colbert's allegiances to the Dem party candidates to the relationship between Trump and Putin. I think we all know where the real holster is.

I have come to acceot that most people in the entertainment industry have vastly different political opinions than me. In fact, not only that, I find some of them to be bad people.

However, I will not let that stop me from enjoying there work.

Colbert falls into that category for me. When I heard this joke I laughed for a good while. Who cares if its against my political ideology?

I honestly feel that embracing comedy can be a huge step to starting to have a dialogue with people we disagree with.

So I have to admonish people on the right calling for his job. These people (along with me) have criticized people on the left for try to censor conservative voices on campus. Instead of censoring, they should just come up with better arguments.

Thats how I feel with this Colbert situation. Instead of being outraged, just come up wigth a better joke, or don't watch him. Censorship is not the answer.

There's that core authoritarian right we all know and love!

Congratulations on your honesty! Many here wanted to say that so badly they're busting.

Not only should Colbert not apologize, he should double down on those jokes.
I thoroughly enjoy watching him take it to Chumpy Cheeto and his greedy band of idiotic sycophants.

Rude? Yes. Crude? Yes. And, I would add, spot on.
Like it, love it, want more of it.
And it's not like there's a shortage of material. Trump ensures job security for folks like Colbert on a daily basis.

It's not like he was insulting a class of people. The homophobia thing doesn't fly with me. While I don't know a lot of gay people, the ones I do know would actually find that comment funny as well. It had nothing to do with homosexuality.

If people don't like it, they don't have to watch it.

Well Trump sure does like to sue people for slander.

I hope he does.

To bad Colbert is actually the one who has others dick in his mouth and butt at this point with a big smile. Pushing political garbage is all they do anymore. Comedy is probably written in after the political garbage.

They complain about pussy talk but goes ahead and says this to millions.......ummmmm

That's much of the hypocrisy from the left about this. Same people who blast Trump for being mean, say as bad or worse things themselves.

Colbert is the type to slam Trump for being anti-LGBT while turning around and using homophobic insults himself.

It had to do with oral sex between two men, not homosexuality. I suppose that could be argued.
