Well, FINALLY, somebody went there!

Thanks. It's the new fun phrase at family anger-fests, where one shouts at the other, "SHUT YER DAMNED C@CK HOLSTER!"

I don't have to stones to type it out. Literally, I don't, because I'm not a man.

I don't see it as comparable but I also don't see anything wrong with people complaining about what Colbert said even though I thought it was accurate and hilarious.

In the name of 'accuracy'.

How does Colbert's ad homenim relate to any given political issue ?

Or just personally insulting the 'right' just SOP when the LEFT can't argue any give political issue legitimately?

But the problem is the RIGHT can't argue any given political issue legitimately either. Both sides are idiots.

I'm not even a righty but I have to disagree with that. Sure there are some idiots on the right, but more often than not, it's the left side that base their arguments on fallacies.

If you're fired from your job for something you said, have you been silenced in any kind of way?

"Nobody"? Really? Then why the outrage?

I don't think we'll see any respect for the office of president.

People are just plain mean now days, and I'm not going to cut him any slack.

Oh man, at least bring some new material lol.

Recycled troll bait.

Alrighty then. You're taking the bait, so if the shoe fits, lace that beach up and wear it.

The way I see it, if he did in fact violate some law and can be terminated for it, well that's not my business and I'll let them handle it.

I'm taking this at face value, and it's as simple as, do I think Colbert should be fired for a joke?

Easy answer, nope.

Was it a joke?

Just be sure to only "mouth out" the first word. After all, it was "bleeped" out, so the actual word itself wasn't actually audibly broadcast on television

I'm not arguing that there aren't a lot of idiots and unethical people on the left. Nancy Pelosi springs to mind, but I think both sides share equal blame. I haven't seen one intelligent republican in ages. Look who ran against trump...That's my point right there.

It was a joke, the only instance we know of was consensual if he in fact did do it.

He's a liar unless he speaks of wrongdoing is what I'm hearing, then believe him.

I don't support him, I don't trust him. That being said he was obviously joking.

I was making a point though, people only get offended if it's by the other party.

I think you're really missing the point. I know what you're saying, but bragging about how he can grab women by the p###y, and add in there bragging about how he's able to walk in on young teen girls naked because he owns the pageant.... that's not a joke... That's not the kind of thing that is or should be protected by partisan favor.... that's awful. That's where even if you're a fan you say, whoa f##k, what a horrible thing to brag about.

It's really not partisan. It's really not the same.
