While you're comparing them (the left), thinking your side is better.... Both are suppressive, extreme, closed minded and ignorant.

And everyone else who isn't in the partisan bubble recognizes it from both sides.

So while the left and right argue who's worse, everyone else thinks they both suck.

How are Democrats going to fix it when Republicans control both chambers of Congress and the Presidency? Republicans won all of those elections precisely because they said they'd repeal the ACA & fix the healthcare situation. And now, they can pass any legislation they want assuming they really want to pass it.

You don't think gerrymandering after the 2010 census may have had something to do with it?

I don't support one side or the other, but the last eight years seemed more of an extension to the Bush administration than anything.

As long as both sides are beating the war drums you can forget about domestic policy change until we free up some budget.

What you're declaring just adds to the illusion there is a different between the two branches of the same party.

I agree with obama forien policy being roughly the same , I just don't think there would be the political will with or without a present war.

He has had 100 days.

He is finding out how deep and stinky the swamp is.

I think he needs more time.

I see the comprising as an attempt to get something done.

Or, you could be right. Would Hillary be any better ?

Only MAYBE Bernie sanders would address anything I mentioned..

Clinton would maintain the status quo.. for god or evil..

The GOP wants to kill most government services , deregulate big buisness even more and raise taxes on the poorest while giving breaks to the rich..

Because big buisness has proven to be soooo trustworthy...(sarcasm)

No, but that question is a logical fallacy.

She was obviously the worst candidate in history.

But just because I prefer him over her doesn't mean I'll support or trust him.

Why anyone would trust a billionaire who constantly flip flops is beyond me.

Is he sticking to anything? Nafta, repeal and replace? (even if they did it wasn't to different).

But the biggest of all, he promised to have a domestic focus rather than foreign. The one thing he had the power to do or not do, he's shown what his stance will be.

And with the Democrats praising him for his strikes, I see more to come to stroke his ego.

That's a pretty good point..

The only thing he hasn't caught he'll for from the media is the strikes....

Hypothetically telling him that is what people want...

We all know he gets his news from the same people he calls fake.

Unfortunately most partisan Americans only care about winning or losing the elections.

It's like sports to them. They don't care about what gets done or what doesn't get done, because if they did, they'd notice both sides aren't really different. The same things happen, the same direction is taken, and while the campaign donors cash in from their investment, we are footed the bill for all the bloated spending.

Which is exactly why I said the problem will have to get to very painful proportions before the GOP stops pretending like everything is socialism..

Quit watching CNN.

You lost, time to be quiet.

There's the fascist attitude of the average Trump supporter. They constantly whine about how the left wants to stop their Free Speech while they deny others their rights.

We whine but at least were not out Rioting destroying property and burning the Flag while waving the Mexican Flag.

Do you really think that is the average anti trump person???

You do realize the horrible over generalization y'all both are making right??

So is everyone who hates trump illegal or anti American???

Mustache twirling villains do not exist..

There is no one box you can put any group of people into...

There are the full spectrum of people who like and hate him for a thousand different reasons..

The one disclaimer I will say, is I have never met the stereo type liberal you are talking about.. hypothetically I guess every type of person exists.. but I've never personally met one.. in 36 years...

However I personally know dozens of "they are comming to get my guns" and obama is a Muslim plant who is gonna crown himself king" republicans..

To be fair I live in the south though...so..

First the GOP will increase the deficit when they pass the tax cuts, cough, I mean reform. Rolling out the carpet for democrats so the republicans can cry but the deficit is too high.

I remember pundits predicting the end of the world when our national debt hit $1 Trillion, during Ronald Reagan's second year in office.

It's what..$19 or $20 Trillion now? Since the debt seems to be a "fake" boogy-man, let's ramp it up to $30 Trillion, by putting $10 Trillion into American pockets. "Smart people" will scream, but so what? Nothing happens ANY TIME they scream "danger! danger!".

Of course it had something to do with it. There were a lot of factors involved. But recheck the right wing's backlash when Republicans didn't immediately repeal the ACA/Obamacare to see how important it was to them. Don't forget that they literally campaigned on repealing Obamacare in the 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016 elections.

A crazy strong economy because all have money to spend..

No crazy health care bills that destroy people's livelihood.

Trump has actually had a much more productive and successful "First 100 Days" than failed dimwit Obama.

Apart from keeping the truly vile life-long defender and enabler of a proven serial sexual predator who's always one step ahead of being indicted for something or other out of the White House, Trump has done quite a bit in the last 3 months.

Rolling back as much of the truly awful Obama regulatory structure relating to energy production and climate change for starters.

Gorsuch, of course.

Trump signed twice as much legislation and twice as many EO's as Obama did in his first 100.

As of this moment a repeal of the jobs-killing leftist boondoggle "Obamacare" is in the pipeline, as is massive tax reform.

I would like to see some more movement on The Wall, but all in due time.

Wasn't that a bad thing when it was obama?!?!

The executive order thing I mean?!?!

Lol.. so if obama had done the same thing he would be evil, but if trump does it...

Massive tax and health care reform that massively cuts services. While only giving more money to the rich , who will just buy robots instead of employees....

Yup that will definately benefit America as a whole....

Lol just lol..

I disagree with letting them have their agenda unopposed because too many Americans will be hurt by them. But I'm all for their voters opting into GOP programs or opting out of the programs they claim to hate. If their voters don't want to use govt programs, then they shouldn't use them. If their voters want all markets deregulated and want unregulated products, then they should be free to buy unregulated stuff.

But don't think for a second that voters will hold them accountable for their screwups. As I've mentioned in other threads, the GOP controls most State governorships and State legislatures. And now, they control both chambers of Congress, the Presidency, and have the majority on the Supreme Court. But that still doesn't stop the GOP from deflecting responsibility for their own inability to "fix" the problems in their jurisdictions. They'll continue to scapegoat every other segment of America, even when those segments literally hold no power. And that scapegoating will continue to work because their voters don't really care about "fixing" that stuff; they just want to remain in power.

I didn't say help them or vote for it..

But I see no other way to gain the political will to actually make changes, when the party in power couldn't possibly be more bought and paid for...

Any thinking person knows we are gonna have to make big fundamental changes to account for automation.. yet the GOP is 100% preaching the opposite.

How bad does the problem have to get before they allow those changes??? Very vey bad..

Im not convinced AT ALL that paper money matters now, when in all of human history it has been military might that matters....

Worst case scenerio.. the dollar crashes and we swap to something else, while using our military to "acquire" any materials we need.

We are in crazy debt to china, but does that really matter???

We have given them functionally uselsss little pieces of paper in excange for tangible goods and services..

Say they want us to pay up??

Do we give them Alaska?

Or do we tell them to kick rocks? And that if you loan Tony Saprano money, he only pays you if he feels like it..

Plus they have never stopped printing it..

Why do we have to over tax the rich?

Couldn't we just print more..

Not so much it gets ridiculous..

But enough to have every American making 30+ thousand a year??

It is all just based on the fact we all agree it has value.. why couldn't we just continue to value it the same??

All that physics wise matters is labor, know how and materials ... we have all the enough to feed cloth and house every human in the planet... but we don't because enough little pieces of paper can't change hands...

On the macro scale it is insane.

And they will for a lot of people...but do you think the GOP just decides on their own not to be corporate stooges???

Because I do not...

I've heard that our politicians are soo bought and paid for that they literally judge what their constituents want by how much money they get to change that issue..

For example private prisons donate billions of dollars to create more inmates.., but almost no one donates money to end private prisons..

So they assume that no one wants to end them and everyone wants more of privatization.. even though there is only 2 companies that want them..
