Yeah. Everyone has the right to free speech here in America. If you would look at his post history he has been trying to inflame this issue.

Calling for equality, consistency, and zero censorship across the board is "inflaming this issue"? I fear your screen name is entirely too accurate.

Doesn't matter, people should be free to express their views..popular or not..let them expose themselves for who they are rather than being a victim of censorship.

ATS resides on the WORLD_WIDE web.

ATS is not exclusively American, as evidenced by my avatar.

The 1st Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America, does not apply to the world as a whole.

ATS is in a public domain but requires a membership to participate, upon which you agree to abide by the ATS T&C's, which affects every member, across the globe, equally. Unlike the Constitution of the United States of America which is confined to the United States of America and its citizens.

We can all see the point you're attempting to make but it's a poor one and the example your'e using is even poorer and trying to legitimise it by playing silly schoolyard games, ain't helping your argument champ.

Fresh air will do you some good

How so? You used swearing on ATS as a comparison to the first Amendment... ATS isn't governed by the Constitution. It's governed by its own T&C's. As I said, poor example.
If I'm in any way mistaken, please correct me with some substance.... and no dares!

Sighs. The point is the First Amendment only protects you from the government, not from each other.

That doesn't matter. He has the right to utilize freedom of speech.

US empire and endless wars have no place in our society, but countless leaders and useful idiots support it all the time in public.

Might want to look up that term.

INALIENABLE RIGHT.

And that word EQUALITY.

Anyone that had would see the incredulity in that comment.

Do you not understand the words that are coming out of my mouth ?

A believer in equality and inalienable rights would not target their fellow citizen.

The first is a guarantee to go after the state.

It's not a hall pass to harass our fellow neighbors.

Perhaps that's why there's a Second Amendment?

Besides, it doesn't take away from the importance of the First and every U.S. citizens right to exercise it, no matter how out of touch their ideals may be.

Right. But it doesn't mean you can just go around demanding that you speak and be heard anywhere and at any time.

Apparently NOT.

Personal rights held by an individual which are not bestowed by law, custom, or belief, and which cannot be taken or given away, or transferred to another person, are referred to as “inalienable rights.” The U.S. Constitution recognized that certain universal rights cannot be taken away by legislation, as they are beyond the control of a government, being naturally given to every individual at birth, and that these rights are retained throughout life. To explore this concept, consider the following inalienable rights definition.

legaldictionary.net...

Why would I target a fellow citizen being as they are EQUAL, and have the same inalienable rights as I ?

Answer:

I wouldn't.

So I don't need protection from them.

Private citizens have NO sovereign power over any other private citizen.

Back to that word EQUALITY.
