My question? How great is the price, for your "freedom"? America was founded on all men/women are "sovereigns". What is your "price"? For this? Kind of weird/"queer" to stand outside and judge.

You really have a weird way of speaking. You do realize "My question?" is completely incoherent. We do not know how to answer the question as to what your question is.

When people actually start defending the Bill of Rights

And are able to practice their first and second amendment rights FREELY and without any mental reservation.

America would be great again when people stop paying lip service to Freedoms we hold self evident.

More bait trolling . America isn't great again. America and it's citizens have been duped again by the corporate oligarchical overlords and their billionaire pals who pull the strings.

Zero legislative victories for the current administration. Travel ban blocked twice by the judicial branch. Healthcare bill dead on arrival. Privacy rights under attack (same as Obama administration). Internet browsing histories given freely to corporations to make huge profits. Net Neutrality set to be killed. More war. Escallation of tensions with North Korea and China. More golfing then the president he constantly blasted for golfing. Heavier burden on tax payer debt incurred because of the first families lifestyle, travel expenses, a first lady that doesn't live in the White House, spending weekends in Mar Lago... Drain the swamp? More like add to the swamp and keep the same old crap in DC that originally created the swamp. Mike Flynn forced to resign as National Security Advisor. Build the wall boondoggle (conservative cost estimates are roughly 25 billion despite what the Donald says). The working and middle class families that voted for this guy are going to get the big shaft.

That's the list of 'greatness' so far. Not even taking into account the amount of infighting the Executive branch has seen in the first three months. Not to mention his abysmal Tweeting.

Looking good MAGA. The White House is full of idiots. Well done.

Wow.....good work on that OP.

And yea, the US economy has been bumping along at near deflation levels for the last 8 or so years at least. And that's precisely why they've kept interest rates preternaturally low for the last 10 years or so because if the economy tips over into a recessionary spiral, it will signal another Great Depression (which was a deflationary spiral). As one guy, my father said, there's nothing worse than a deflationary spiral Depression.......it is a disaster of mind boggling proportions.

What's important to me?

Economically speaking, the biggest threat to US security and financial stability is the national debt and the deficit. If those two aren't brought to heel, this country will come to look like the UK following WWII; it will take decades for the US, if ever, to recover from a debt default or even the hint of such a thing. Sadly, with the current crop of Politicians, the hope for solving this problem is nearly non-existent.

What's going to propel the US economy into a nose dive of Biblical proportions is advances in technology coupled with an already historically low labor participation rate. The labor participation rate has never recovered and as jobs are deconstructed by technology, it will never recover, but only become orders of magnitude worse.

Knowing all this I do not indulge in the fantasy that America can be made great again. What's important to me now is managing to survive the #hit storm that's the light at the end of a relatively short tunnel.

Buddy the only way i would ever serve my nation by way of military action is if it was invaded by another hostile military force.

Given the fact that i stay on an island that has a nuclear arsenal at her disposal i really don't see that happening anytime soon.

The only people i serve is myself, family and friends.

It's simply not about country's and nations any longer, its about monies, diminishing resources, and control over our very hearts and minds.

More gun control, and update the constitution?

'fraid so. For the US to lift itself out of the political swamp of lobbyists and vested interest, the US Consitution (written in the 1780s) needs to meet the modern world.

1. Sort out the Electoral College inbalance.
2. Public funding of elections to remove the money (and potential corruption) from the system, and widen the field to others not aligned to the two mainsteam parties.
3. Equal state representation in the senate.
4. Guns

I'm not American, so forgive me. Looking in from the outside I think the "unbending" US Consitution holds the US back.

However this time those american men(and woman, children and animals for that matter) may die in the furnace of nuclear fire as apposed to the beaches of Normandy or hills and jungles of Korea or Vietnam. Hell of a price to pay for greatness if you ask me.

If America and the rest of the first world nations ever wish to be considered great we need to put aside or differences, both religious and socioeconomic, regarding the other half of the planet, stop fighting over the remaining resources we have left available and address the larger problems that are quite frankly staring our race in the face.

Problems like our increasing energy demands, world poverty, mass hunger and the fact that new clean water sources are becoming scare as our respective populations breed like bunny rabbits.

Depends on what your definition of "is", is. When all men are equal? When right has a say? When the mentally ill get help and not just "validated"? When we stop calling a "sex change" other than what it is, a mutilation? When people are taught in "public school" that you should/can "govern" themselves/yourself? When what you earn is yours? When the "people's government " has to "budget" and buy what they need and not what they want?...I could go on. .. But I won't.

When all outsourcing of business and jobs to other countries stops and get our unemployment back to hovering around 3 and 4 percent which should help alleviate alot of our problems and hopefully fill the coffers for the space programs to dip into.
