Google says median salary for government employees is around $85,000. 2300 employees thus saves ~$195 million a year.
Trump is on pace to cost the taxpayers around $120 million in the first year for his vacations to Florida, not counting the security detail for private business trips for family members.
So, basically it's a trade of 2300 jobs for a year and a half of Mar-a-lago.
I'm all for cutting unnecessary jobs, but it's a bit hard to take the administration seriously when they spend unashamedly on themselves. You would think a billionaire would offer to cover the security detail himself, if he wanted to vacation frequently, right?

Overall net saving.
Where's the overall net savings in a trade of 2300 jobs for a year and a half of Mar-a-lago trips?
Will Trump be leaving office in less than a year and a half?
