Well wish real hard and see if it works. I would guess that he is going to Florida every weekend.

Ah, remember when the president taking a day off every now and then was a huge scandal? Where did those days go....

im not happy about it but im also not happy about the reporting on it. many of those trips werent vacations but business meetings. i feel this is a holdover from his business days and is being used as a tactic to make the deal. my neighbors job is to take clientele on vacations and show them a good time while making deals on golf courses, in casinos, amusement parks, etc. you might be surprised to find out just how many business deals are brokered this way.

BS They had to do them there because that is were he was. It wasnt like he took them to Camp David after they went to the WH. They went straight to Mar-a-lago because the president wasnt at the WH.

well maybe open your eyes abit. heres a link for you that these arent spur of the moment "oh # hes not at the WH" deals
Xi's trip to mar-a-lago

Why does Trump get a free pass on not being at the WH? The man bitched an moaned about Obama taking a few trips and now he is bringing heads of states to Mar-a-lago because he spends so much time away from his job.

ok this will be my last reply. go up and read the other posts. i for sure am not giving him a free pass. the original comment u replied to specifically states i dont like it. my other posts state theres other places for it. i believe your partisanship is showing now

It is partisanship to want the president to be in the white house? WOW!

I hated whining about the "cost" of President Obama's travel when that's just the price of doing business, and now the other side is whining about Trump.

Give me a goddamn break...

Obama and Trump have little perspective on costs and what constitutes wasted money. They are very wealthy, and are only going to get wealthier.

They fail to realize how long an average citizen would have to work to earn a million $. And frankly don't care.

You may call it cold, I call it reality. What are they supposed to do?

Are you f$^ing serious? I grew up & lived up & down W coast of FL, close to Albert Whitted, TIA, SRQ, Venice Municipal. You have absolutely NO IDEA how ingrained the flight industry is in FL, do you? It doesn't matter if it's my home coast, or the E coast, it's a BIG deal. It's not a matter of tough s#, get another hobby. These are tour flights, charters, medical flights (A LOT of medical flights) The weekend hobbyist flyboys are just that, the rest of the industry is a wider spread & they suffer, too. Who the hell are you to tell them they don't have a right to their income anymore just because President Spoiled Brat is in town each weekend?

Talk about ignorance. Donnie can fekking hole up in the White House, or go to the Vineyard like everybody else does. He's not afforded the right to impede an industry just because he's in the vicinity.

If he cared about the money he wouldn't be going to Mar-a-Lago all the time.

This is all just an excuse for him to use so he doesn't have to go home and see his wife and kid.

So he's swapping spending millions of dollars on going to NY and instead spending 3 million and counting on trips to play golf at Mar-a-Lago.

What's your point exactly?

The WH is a #hole.

I wouldn't spend time making deals there either.

This is Murica Trump doesn't need all the BS symbolic Oval Office backdrop.

Look how well all that worked for Obama, no one gave a crap.

Tough noogies about the SS costs, that's their job.

Take a breath, or two.

I feel for the air industry. But what are they to do? And yes all that $$$ is being pissed away, same as Obama did and Bush did.

These guys do not have the same concerns as average Americans. And yes he, if he wants to keep going to Florida he will, and the damage he is doing more than likely won't cross his mind, running the country and all.

Good point, although I don't know the in's and out's of flying. I imagine there will be the usual learning curve, then people will get on doing the busy business stuff we all do.

Are you trying to say Obama and Bush pissed away money on trips at the same rate..you understand the difference right? not the same by any stretch.
In his 1st 30 day's he pissed away more than Obama in a year.

My point is pissing away 100 mil or 200 mil means nothing to these guys, doesn't seem to cross their mind. They are multi millionaires (billionaires). They don't care and there is nothing we can do but cry about it. The guy is president and will go where he wants when he wants to.

So yes Bush didn't burn through nearly as much (bank bail out), and Obama more than likely will not come close to Trump's cost ($20,000,000,000,000 debt). If the worst Trump does is piss away travel/security I will be a happy camper-time will tell.

you guys realize much of these complaints your making will further nothing. its just to complain or to defend something simply because its for your parties cause. why not give some constructive criticism pointing out either the benefits of his trip to mar-a-lago or the benefits to using the standard destinations that a president will normally use. make an actual argument for it rather then just taking partisan stances or making baseless claims.

I would be surprised is trump makes it 4.

Trump is going to blow away any president in spending. Both secret service and economically.

Could you point towards any economic policy you think trump will be able to pass that won't increase the national debt?

I get that you like the guy, but he has no policies.

I will ask you again in this thread, what economic policies do you think trump will innact that will not add national debt?

I have read his plans everytime the details are released. They look like a high school student wrote them. They are naive and worse debt ridden. Luckily they have about a 0 percent chance of passing through congress.

We can expect trump to be about as effective as Jimmy Carter.

Great point.

Camp David was created so that presidents can go somewhere without creating a disruptive event.

Trump says it too rustic for him.

That's all I need to know about his "conservatism"

Well that and reading his budget, tax plans, the work history of the sec of labor, his trade ideas etc.

His America first (if that still is a thing) in bring manufacturing to America is a good idea. (no Debt)

Deregulating certain aspects of business is in theory going to make business easier. (no debt)

And to be fair, I do not "like" Trump, but I am willing to give him more than 100 days to right the ship. This is the same chance I gave Obama and Bush. Both were, in my opinion, horrible pres for very different and similar reasons.
