Well in my opinion anyway.

At number 3 Traffic " Paper Sun "

At number 2 Cream " Dance The Night Away "

And at Number 1. Well i am gonna cheat because i can't make my mind up from these two.

This genre of music is not every ones cup of tea but would love to hear your suggestions.

Thanks for listening.

How the Moody Blues aren't in the Hall of Fame is a mystery.

And I'll make a contribution:

This one is pretty psyched in my eyes. Crank it up and kick back.

What's up with that. I love me some Moody Blues. They should be in the hall.

I'm going to listen to every song on this thread.

This is a very underestimated musical genre.

My three favorites: Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult

Several songs by Led Zepplin - Whole Lotta Love somewhere near the top.. can't decide...

Frank Zappa's Hot Rats

DJ Food - O is for Orange (mostly Boards of Canada mix complete with video)

It really picks up by around minute 9, and then the ride goes freefall after around minute 12. This should knock all your socks off (and your monkey masks too)!

Bonus hits for who can guess where they got the 1950's era footage of the monkeys (on the bikes) from....

Board of Canada (BOC) are up there with Aphex Twin in the "Ambient / Experimental" scene. And DJ Food is renowned in the "Downtempo" scene. The film as a whole represent the pinnacle of BOC lore, for those familiar (the origins of their name & some of the film clips used in it, their greatest hits, fan video works, all mixed with tons of added hot visual content).

PS: The piece is a must have for any serious surreal film collector.
