A candid, honest President is what we voted for, and quite frankly, what America needs after the last 8 years. Kudos to President Trump for wearing his heart on his sleeve.

I really have trouble understanding under what logic Trump supporters can call Donald Trump "honest".

I stand corrected. Make that, "more honest than the majority of business leaders and politicians".

That's commonly what you call someone when you believe what they're saying.

I'm still having trouble gelling that logic considering Trump has broken records for amount of untruths he's uttered.

He's the one who made the 100 day promises.

Inacurracies that can be underscored by inexperience.
But hey throw the guy under the bus without anyone
driving the bus. Or maybe you want to drive?
Gawd damn give him a fair shake. After a year I may be
side by side with you.

Yes. I know what the definition of honest is. Now explain to me the logic you used to get to the conclusion that Trump is honest. Which was what my post was REALLY about.

So, that's the level of the bar for Trump?

No Mr. Phage and I didn't say that either. But things don't happen in
the first 100 days of any presidency as I remember. I'm here hoping
for a good administration and see no reason to jump ship yet.

Actually he himself tried to prove himself by pushing through very poorly thought out and badly constructed solutions against his campaign promises. Wasn't wise - should have heeded Miracle Max. "You rush a miracle man, you get rotten miracles."

I'd have had more respect for him if he had actually tried to formulate solutions that stick and make sense. Also is the fun fact that in his effort to have to avoid having actually accomplish anything politically, he has signed more executive orders in his first 100 days than any President in the last 72 years. Which is ironic considering how much he derided others for using executive orders in the past.

Let me put it this way, these so-called experienced politicians you seem to hold in such high regard have been consistently failing us now for at least a generation. If Trump fails I won't fault him any more or less than the others.

I don't hold politicians in high regard. I just think they lie less than Trump does.

So nothing intelligent to say then? Ok it's your call. But with that explanation lacking any depth and insight, all you just did is tell me you are gullible as hell though.

This whole thread is full of ignorance in that regard. Unbelievable how it's
okay to be a criminal or a lame duck as long as you're qualified.

Coming from you that's quite a hoot.

I'm not going to go down a list of things Trump has said that were beyond the pale and turned out to be accurate. I'm also not going to go down any lists of personally chosen quotes that resonated with me. I'll only say this much, my understanding of the concept of "real speak" is what I'd say Trump excels at and if I'm not mistaken on the concept, honesty is a large part of real speak. If you think something, say it, don't cover it up or keep it balled up inside because you're afraid of consequences for voicing unpopular or critical opinions. Speaking your mind is the epitome of honesty.

So "real speak" is more important to you than the truth as long as he is speaking his mind? This is why you guys are gullible. I don't know if you noticed yet, but President Flip-Flop doesn't even care about his campaign promises anymore.

If I'm so ignorant than how come Donald Trump became president at all? I think its the Killary Clinton supporters who are ignorant in this case.

They don't care about that because well,,, hate.
Some just want to see Trump fail even if the U.S.A. fails along
with him. It doesn't occure or matter to liberals what happens to this country.
As long as Trump fails.
