Without limit, Pentagon can deploy tens of thousands of troops to battle in Syria and Iraq, significantly escalating the war in the middle east. It's hot there and no one wants to be there to fight in this kind of weather. It's terrible. It's sweaty. It's thirsty. It makes the muscles ache.

Double-edged sword.

It could be a good move, could be a horrible move.

If USA can coordinate with Syria and Russia and actually fight the right people it would be cool.

But that ship has sailed.

So I guess we will do what we want and they do what they want and... yea... could be a big clusteryuck.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but has the USA officially declared was on IS, or this is a continuation of the "War on Terror" that GW Bush declared after 911?

Is Congress being bypassed by this Pentagon authorization of Trump's, or have they already given their approval?

Does it matter at this point near 16 years of wars and secret wars why make any official proclamations at this point.
I really miss the 90's before this insane decade and a half of Mideast wars. I don't see any end in sight.
I guess It good business for the military industrial complex to keep it going.
Administrations change but the war machine keeps going.

Honestly, good...

Time to sweep up and finish this crap.

Also, this is a war that has been going on close to 2 decades, Trump didn't start this, but hopefully he can finish it. And this time, not pull out before the job is done!
