What are you not understanding?

I am a liberal too.

BTW:

Left-wing politics supports social equality and egalitarianism, often in opposition to social hierarchy and social inequality

An ex prez speaking at Cantor Fitzgerald that was paid $400,000 grand to speak.

Why would we support an ideology that supports hierarchal structure of suppression and control?

Letting someone speak is not the same as supporting their ideology. Do you know who else wouldn't let those with views they disagree with speak? ISIS.

The other poster asked a question.

It's ok to deny Coutler the right to speak out of fear of violence.

Which is ok by some.

They asked who it wouldn't be ok for.

I replied.

I don't care what you are, I'm only speaking for myself, you can stand wherever you want.

Did you really just google a quote?

I don't need you to tell me what Left is.

BTW, that quote is really funny. If you are actually aware that is.

ETA:

Left-wing politics supports social equality and egalitarianism, often in opposition to social hierarchy and social inequality

So much social equality that they feel the need to censor all opposing opinions.

He was the mayor of SF for 8 years and state assembly speaker (CA) for over a decade prior.

He's as Democrat as they come.

Doh! My bad disregard post

Read my edit, it's hilarious actually.

Well it's clear we don't function on the same wavelength and you only see in black and white.

So with that being said..

Amazing.

A group, or groups, invite someone to speak--a right protected by the Constitution. OK, so far...

Another group, or groups, threaten violence is that same person is allowed to speak... Why are any of you OK with this. Oh, it's Ann Coulter, squeaky voice and all, so it's OK. She's a provocateur, so it's OK to threaten violence.

No. No, it isn't.

UC Berkeley is an institute of higher learning, yet some of its students, by their behavior, seem to still be in the Jungle.

Oh, that's right, I keep forgetting... It's Ann Coulter, so it's OK.

Tell me, who wouldn't it be OK for?

Except that's not what happened. If you read the statement by the YAF they pulled out of the event because the police refused to crack down on the protestors. Which if the police had done that, would have been an actual instance of free speech being violated.

Berkeley police have a policy to never interfere with public demonstrations unless there is fear of imminent bodily harm. And a protest in the making doesn't fall under that, for obvious reasons.

None of the facts about what actually happened seem to stop people from turning rabid and spouting what the articles they read tell them to. The reality is, this is a victory for free speech, in that even with right wing media blowing this story up the police still didn't choose to deny the protesters their right to free speech.

YAF didn't agree with that, and canceled.

Look I get that you don't want to be associated with Antifa and Black Bloc and other wacko groups. I get it. I don't like to be associated with them either which is why I've been trying to break that myth in this thread and others. Conservatives get upset when people associate them with Westboro Baptist Church and other religious nutjobs.
Anyway if you are not on the left and on the right that makes you a centrist.

Again, the YAF specifically said "violent agitators". That should factor into your argument at the very least.

She's just a dick.

She really is. But that's no reason she shouldn't be allowed to speak at Berkley

Was she not allowed to speak at Berkley?

For the last time, I don't stand anywhere, or with anybody.

I stand alone, with my views and beliefs, and wherever that puts me, so be it.

There doesn't need to be a left right centrist up down inside outside

See, you can't step away from Politics for a second, and this is why we are always accused of being funded by Soro's, this is not about politics (albeit political)

If Hillary would be president, we would still have disrupted the inauguration, and we would still be Anti-fascist, and if these same groups tried to organise we would still counter and confront them.

you, the media, liberals have been ignoring us all this time, but now the media feels like they can monopolize on this "Political-climate' and sell "Trump Versus Anti-Trump"

You started with the assertion that all people on the left are like that. That's on you. Good that you are standing on your own. The fact remains that liberalism is a left-wing ideology. You can't change that.
