But so what if Trump colluded with Russia in the 2016 election?

what if....
russia was just doing a test run, a display of sorts of just what they could do?
what if...
they built up their hacking force, their bots, and their other methods to disperse information...
what if...
their hackers have managed to gather just as damning information as they did with clinton about other senators, house representative, governors, judges??? and are ready to put it out via their bots and such whenever they chose to and are even now approaching people to pressure into doing what they want??

would it still be "so what"????

Russians are supermen? I don't think so. I think America is more technologically more advanced than Russia. If Russia wants to play, they won't be able to handle it.

I kind of think they already did it once, and weather or not trump colluded, I think they won the first inning..
I don't care how advanced we are, if we can't look objectively at what was done and how it was done...
they will win the game!!

Why Not a Probe of ‘Israel-gate’?

The other day, I asked a longtime Democratic Party insider who is working on the Russia-gate investigation which country interfered more in U.S. politics, Russia or Israel. Without a moment’s hesitation, he replied, “Israel, of course.”

Which underscores my concern about the hysteria raging across Official Washington about “Russian meddling” in the 2016 presidential campaign: There is no proportionality applied to the question of foreign interference in U.S. politics. If there were, we would have a far more substantive investigation of Israel-gate.

The problem is that if anyone mentions the truth about Israel’s clout, the person is immediately smeared as “anti-Semitic” and targeted by Israel’s extraordinarily sophisticated lobby and its many media/political allies for vilification and marginalization.

So, the open secret of Israeli influence is studiously ignored, even as presidential candidates prostrate themselves before the annual conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both appeared before AIPAC in 2016, with Clinton promising to take the U.S.-Israeli relationship “to the next level” – whatever that meant – and Trump vowing not to “pander” and then pandering like crazy.

what do you think of the wikileaks release of the CIA documents detailing the infiltration of groups in the 2012 french election??????

16 February, 2017 CIA espionage orders for the last French presidential election All major French political parties were targeted for infiltration by the CIA's human ("HUMINT") and electronic ("SIGINT") spies in the seven months leading up to France's 2012 presidential election. The revelations are contained within three CIA tasking orders published today by WikiLeaks as context for its forth coming CIA Vault 7 series. Named specifically as targets are the French Socialist Party (PS), the National Front (FN) and Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) together with current President Francois Hollande, then President Nicolas Sarkozy, current round one presidential front runner Marine Le Pen, and former presidential candidates Martine Aubry and Dominique Strauss-Khan.

It is not illegal or unethical for one side of a political battle to collude with a foreign power in a political battle. Henry VII was placed on the throne of England by France who killed Richard III at the battle of Bosworth Field. Louis XVIII was placed on the throne of France by Britain and Prussia who killed Napoleon I at the battle of Waterloo.

Just because tyrants do something that does not make it legal or ethical. Do you want to be governed by a foreign puppet?

If their mission was to influence the election, rather than just monitor it, they clearly failed. The United States would have favored Sarko over Hollande, the Socialist.

France is a country that is deeply unreformable, every time a politician tries some major policy update, the french people do what they do best : demonstrate until it gets dismissed.
Hollande delivered exactly the same as Sarko.

The US interventionism is not limited to France, far from that :

Obama is socialist. Holland is socialist. Szarkozy is conservative. I would have imagine the other way around.

I agree. I was not happy about the DNC trying to actively sideline Sanders. Plus, part of the reason I still am not calling myself a Democrat is because even now they don't look like they've learned from their mistakes and are doubling down on the same people who lost them the election.

You don't have to defend the Democrats or Hillary to me. This information isn't going to turn me away from being a liberal or anything. I just see it as more of the same in regards to the problems holding the Democrats back.

Is the CIA run by socialists, or by conservatives? Hint: they would rather support a fascist dictator than see a country go "red."

Napoleon was not killed at the battle of Waterloo. The OP is just trolling. As for the Russians influencing the US elections, claiming that Russia could not do it is Russophobia
