Yes it is, but it's like...totally different this time.

Palin commanded six figures. Bush did. Rice did.

Trump used to get seven figures for giving speeches.

He's building his war chest so he can run again in 2020.

He already got 60 mil for a book deal.

O's about the biggest hypocrite I have ever seen.

He's the new Bill Clinton.

Not sure what your real point is. Are you upset that Obama pulls in about 4 times what Republican politicians do? ...Not clear that you've done any homework. Obvious you haven't done any research.

The Price Of Political Speakers

...Bush earns between $100,000 and $150,000 per speaking engagement, the annual tuition of two to four USC students.

Bill Clinton: $195,000

Hillary Clinton: $200,000

Condoleeza Rice: $100,000-150,000

Dick Cheney: $75,000-$100,000

How Much Can You Charge For Speaking?

...A recent article detailed the fees certain politicians charge for speaking. They are substantial. Bill and Hillary are right around $200K. Al Gore is a relatively modest $100K. On the Republican side, George Bush comes in at $110K, and Dick Cheney $75K – $100K. I guess he can’t charge more than his former boss.

What you charge is a complex calculation involving your status, your demand, and the quality you want to project. How have you made the sums come out? I’d be delighted to hear your experiences in the tricky world of paid public speaking.

Why does BHO do a 180 shift to humanitarian (paid one)...from crack-. (life-long)?

Nope. Not really. I had zero trouble correcting you just now.

Hardly.

Tell me how O can reconcile a 400k speaking fee after being on the record saying this:

www.nydailynews.com...

Inequality.

More money than a waitress will ever see.

The point is Obama is a hypocrite.

to the tune of $60,400,000 and not even a 100 days out of office.

I'm not Obama. Why don't you ask him to reconcile it? All I'm saying is that the free market has determined that Obama can get away with charging $400k for speaking. You aren't jealous because Bush can only get away with charging $100k to $175K are you?

I think you're just triggered that people are willing to pay $400k to listen to Obama. Probably explains why there's no thread by you about Bush making millions from his speaking engagements.

Bush didn't rail on for eight years about how rich people were evil.

HE did not so it's effing irrelevant, and nothing but a strawman.

So your argument is that you aren't allowed to be a public speaker if you spend 8 years saying that rich people are evil? Sounds flimsy to me. I don't think the free market cares about that.

I am saying had Obama not specifically called out a minority for EIGHT YEARS.

I wouldn't have a problem.

ATTENTION Obama! Neo has a problem with you making money off of speaking about rich people being evil!

Hmmm... I don't think he cares, buddy.

Just like all the others.

Here's a neat one. Bush paid 100k for speaking at wounded veterans event. You can't make this chit up.

He got paid to talk to young men who HE SENT to get wounded.

No Obama was against capitalism before he was for it.

See 60 million dollar book deals and 400K speaking fees.

I'm not excusing anything. I'm just enjoying dismantling your flimsy and very obviously partisan argument. Hell the more this thread goes on the funnier it becomes for me because your argument becomes sillier and sillier and more and more desperate.
