Non-partisan question here.... What's the big deal? It seems to me this is what presidents do when they are no longer president. They get paid big
money to speak.
I think we can expect Trump will do it too and the dems will say "bad" and repubs will say "good business" and back and forth it goes. But is there an
actual problem here that isn't just a partisan tug of war whine?
Would be nice if we could all agree to stop b#ching about things that both sides do. Getting paid to speak after their presidency is over, playing
golf while they're president...
If there is reason to not allow these paid speaking roles then it should be bi-partisan and with good reason-- and both sides stick to it.
