Cleaning up some old pages on my site, I ended up on Tom Mahood's "otherhand" website. He said he was purging, from which I suspected he was eating at the Little Alein. But alas he was dumping old Area 51 documents.

The following page has a link to an old Nevada Test Site map.

I'm more curious how underground looks like and when could it be used to create d.u.m.b or storage for nuclear waste

Prior to moving the Reading Room to the Atomic Testing Museum, it was a lonely place. I can't recall any other visitor the times I was at the one at the DOE main campus or that nearly off-campus building.

That map was never on the "Bluefire" website. I suspect by "purge", Tom was cleaning up files off an old hard drive.

If you tour the NTS, the tower for the Icecap test is a living monument to the test ban. The test was partially set up but had to be abandoned when the ban took place. Sort of like the rapture. ;-)
