Looks like big restaurant conglomerate McDonalds is getting some new uniforms for their employees.

People are commenting about them and saying they remind them of some kind of dystopia theme !!

They are a little drab and kinda remind me of a "1984" style.

Maybe they are getting "people" and "workers" used to a plain and "practical" theme to make things in general more "uniform" and "collective" looking.

Hmmm.

People are really freaking out over the new McDonald’s uniforms

McDonald’s has unveiled its new staff uniforms, and people are worried that the fast food chain is “speeding into a dystopian novel.” The new look will require employees in 14,000 restaurants to sport gray-on-gray uniforms, a big change from the red and yellow attire consumers are used to seeing their McDonald’s staff wear.

While the look is intended to be more casual, or as Boswell put it, they provide an “easy transition from the restaurant to a social environment,” social media users have had an entirely different reaction, fearing that the McDonald’s is ushering in modern dystopia.

Either going after the "grey man" look or are short of a face mask to look like Antifa?

Eh, at least they will be able to leave work easily enough and fit right into the next protest......

If McDonalds had a branch on the Death Star or any Imperial controlled city, this is exactly how I imagine their staff would dress

First what is all this about Antifa, Fascism is simply evil, second give them a red armband with a black chicken and I will really start to worry about that choice of uniform, MacDonal's.
Kind of remind me of the original series of V as well.

those must be the uniforms for the north korea McDonalds, I guess the advantage of having black uniforms is that they don`t have to wash them so often because the grease stains and other dirt won`t be so obvious as they would be on white uniforms.

They are simply following the trend of modern bistro-style server attire.

And restaurants, if you want to call McDonalds a restaurant, have always been "social environments", but to say this is 1984-ish is simply nutty.

I liked it better when McDonald's employees didn't have uniforms that "easy transition from the restaurant to a social environment".

It used to be you that you could see them coming in their red and yellow attire.
People in the social environments could turn off the lights and be very quiet until McDonalds employees decided they had the wrong address.

Now, no one will see them coming in their transitional uniforms.

Whoa they looked like Uniforms of the Star Wars Empire. Are they trying to promote Star Wars 8, Battle Front 2 and the upcoming Han Solo movie?

I'm not really sure what that means but I bet their colors will reflect the colors of their establishment. Red seems to be the common color amongst them all.
