SBC is becoming a more popular means of suicide. From a religious point if someone esle kills you then you did not commit suicide. Question comes up in that if you provoked an officer to kill you then are you still accountable?

What is the religions, legal and moral ramifications of this act. How is the officer affected. Is SBC a new wave of suicide to relieve depressed persons of the act of death?

If you went into a situation doing something knowing that a cop would shoot you, you commited suicide even if you didn't pull the trigger. I don't think there's a religious difference here.

When you park your car on a railroad track, its the train that kills you, but its still suicide. Imho if you park your rear in a situation where an officer has no choice but to shoot you, your doing the same as parking yourself on a railroad track.

How about if you go into a burning building to save a person, knowing that you probably wouldn't survive? or On D-day alot of guys knew they would probably end up dead, but continued to push forward(I know that is a bad example)

Well, in both cases you don't have the intention of dying.

You know you propably will, but you don't do it to die but to do good, be a hero.

Suicide is contiously seeking to die.
Being a hero is knowing there is a good chance that you will die, but trying to save someone or achieve a goal without any regard for your own life.
