America is about VALUES

What like bringing down the Twin Towers so they can invade the Middle East on spurious evidence of WMD's? Or how about attacking Libya because all it wanted to do was trade in a Gold Dinar to bring an end to fiat money.

America is about LIBERTY

Yeah sure...never mind all the restrictions and spying of its own citizens since 911

If you value your freedom then you will sacrifice some liberty for your safety.

I hate to burst your bubble The Construk(etc) but you cant have your cake and eat it to.

If you think the USA brough down its own twin Towers so they can invade the middle east then youve been reading to many Terrence Perry novels.

Actually, there is plenty of evidence suggesting that it os exactly what happened. All you have to do is explore it. If you don't believe it you are in denial. But that's another topic which has been killed here over the years.

the intollerance and constant need to eradicate other political systems world wide, and force others to live your way of life is more attributed to cqpitalism and especially USA's foreign policy.

Judging an ideology by a perverted version of it that some dictator practiced is also wrong.

(Apologies to everyone for using a meme, but this time I was literally at a loss for words.)

...So what exactly is it that you disagree with and why? America doesn't to overthrow governments that refuse the american way of life and bomb freedom into their populations?

Yeah, because the basic laws of physicsmust not apply in New York. And unaffected buildings to simply tend to self-demolish from time to time. Silly me.

Your not silly, its just clear that you want to believe, so you view the whole thing with your consipriacy theory glasses.

I find that people who believe in this conspiracy also believe in aliens at roswell And other stuff like it. I think it stems from being jaded and scapegoating.

Those willing to sacrifice freedom for security deserve NEITHER.

Have you read the communist manifesto? Does it involve gulags? Do you know the difference between communism, socialism, leninism and stalinism?

- Didn't think so.

The problem with communism is (and many ignorant people here will cringe and laugh but I don't care
) is that it's the way of the future, it came before it's time and was in a way forced rather then progressing naturally. It will come once the human civilization evolves, beyond religion, beyond monetary systems, beyond consumerism. It may be in a few thousand years but it will. It is a natural progression.

Today communism s not possible, it will not be possible as long as there is a monetary system. The closest thing today is the Chinese system which is some sort of hybrid of socialism and capitalism. At the moment it's a working one.

On the contrary, I tend to follow common sense, science and physical evidence. Believing is ignoring the above mentioned.

Freedom to do what? Select from a variety of thirty cheeses? Live on credit?

As long as the second amendment holds firm I got all the freedom I need.

Yah but theirs no real evidence that anything conspiratorial happened. Truth is a bunch of muslims hijacked airplanes and crashed them. They werent put up to it by some dark faction of the Us government and yeah they were actually passenger airplanes.

Saying otherwise is some wacky kind of nihilistic fringe fiction.

There is video evidence of multiple controlled demolitions. There is more then just the muso's here.

But not really. Its people seeing what they want to see in the imagery. Like when people saw a "face" in the rocks of Mars. Its not really their. Its just a confirmation bias.

How about building 7? It didn't really get demolished either? Another illusion? What we have here is the blind belief in the official story, ignorance of facts and total denial - the very thing you accuse me of.

Oh, no, I don't disagree with that at all!

But to call what we are living under for at least the better part of a century "capitalism" is a bit of a (massive, herculean, astronomical, extraordinary) stretch. It's a oligarchical perversion of capitalism.

I'm amazed you don't see the inconsistency in your post even after I pointed it out. I'm going to have a headache after all these facepalms...

I am well aware of the various economic systems.

Communism is the greatest economic system ever devised by mankind... on paper. Capitalism is the most unforgiving and unfair system of economics ever devised by mankind... but it works.

The problem with Communism is that it relies on a virtual impossibility to work correctly, that being a unified goal among all under the system. It works well in small groups. My household is communist; money I make is not 'mine,' it is 'ours,' meaning my wife's as well. When my children were at home, it was theirs as well. Each of us do what we can to help the family, and the family provides, or tries to provide, for whatever needs arise. It works well.

Outside of a small united group, however, it fails... miserably. Larger groups tend to become more difficult to unite the larger they get.

The United States was initially founded upon pure capitalism supported by religious charity. As it grew, socialism crept in to right the wrongs that appeared as religious diversity appeared. This combination allowed the US to become an economic superpower in a short time. As socialism increased, however, growth began to decline, and today we find ourselves losing economic viability.

The truth is, no pure economic system known works well. The best overall system we have found is a combination of capitalism and socialism. An analogy I use frequently is that capitalism is a potatoe... dull, bland, and boring. Socialism is salt... corrosive and dry. But put the right amount of salt on that potatoe and you get French Fries! Lively, delicious, exciting French Fries! Just don't put too much salt on, or they become inedible.

Economic theory, incidentally, has nothing to do with gulags or a tendency to subvert foreign governments. That's political theory.

Reasonable to reinforce, yes, but reinforcing that particular border would not even require a tank. One RPG could probably take out the bridge, and a lone SAM unit could thwart any missile infiltration... especially since there appears to be nothing there worth bombing.

TheRedneck

The idea would not be to kill fleeing Koreans, but rather just send a strong visual message that they are not wanted.

FYI :

Russian army official says media mistook exercise for pooling units along Korean border

MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. Movements of army units in the area of the Korean border, which a number of mass media outlets have mistaken for an amassing of troops, are scheduled ones, as the units return to their permanent bases after a major military exercise in Buryatia, eastern Siberia, the official spokesman for Russia’s Eastern Military District told TASS.

A number of Russian and international media said on Friday Russia was ostensibly building up the strength of its units on the border with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. As a proof of this, they published some video footage showing a freight train with armored vehicles
