WASHINGTON -- CBS News has learned that a manhunt is underway for a traitor inside the Central Intelligence Agency.

The CIA and FBI are conducting a joint investigation into one of the worst security breaches in CIA history, which exposed thousands of top-secret documents that described CIA tools used to penetrate smartphones, smart televisions and computer systems.

Maybe while in pursuit of the CIA leaker, they'll find the DNC leaker and destroy this Russian narrative all in one fell swoop.

Wishful thinking, I know.

All they have to do is check all the former Obama employees who hook back up with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Pretty sure they already know where Seth Rich is buried, so no luck on the DNC leaker. As for the CIA tools, the irony is seeing them search and destroy someone who let us know THEY (CIA) was doing something illegal.

Question begging to be asked. What's more illegal, spying on domestic citizens with their own devices or tatletelling?

But, But this is not the DNC thing, this is a homegrown group that did this CIA hacking, what Pompeo is trying to waffle is by saying that Wikileaks is some kind of agent for Russia by releasing these 'tool' documents, or more precisely that Wikileaks is a non state hostile entity to? .......... (fill in the dots if you can think of anyone/anywhere) not so easy is it?
Pompeo is just doing a bit of not very subtle chancing by trying to put horns on Wikileaks, while it's a piggin' CIA link.

Betrayal of the people who make the laws is the worst crime in their eyes.

Personally, I want to see a man hunt for the CIA and FBI...

Snowden tweeted just after the release that given the data shared it was pretty easy to know where it came from. Likely an NSA contractor. I'll bet same contractor that he and another fellow worked through. booz allen hamilton

Whoever did it, someone should buy that person a beer. The government been destroying our liberties every chance they get.

Next step is to hold corporations accountable for not securing devices/products they sell us. I believe they receive funding to make it easy for the government to hack into them. We can make gambling machines that are tamper proof but we can't do the same for smart devices.

Well it should be simple...they have access to everything right? And it's already been publicly aired that it was a Russian, so unless they come up with a Russian then they were lying the entire time.

Is it strange of me to flip my phone the bird everyone I unlock it? Just for that one of chance the message reaches it's Mark.

Why is it everytime I edit a post about the CIA, it creates a new post with the last comment as being quoted.

I guess they saw the bird 🐦

Did they blame Russia for this recent Vault 7 release? It wouldn't surprise me.

The article clearly states they are looking for a mole within their own agency. Though, as it has been pointed out, Wikileaks stated that the Vault 7 documents were widely available to a variety of agents and intelligence contractors at no classification level.

It sort of broadens their search, I would think.

I love it when an investigation = validation. The agencies in this country are rogue and beyond oversight. I'm glad this happened. People walk around like drones and treat those that think outside the box as if they're nuts.

What's alarming is that most don't care even if they know they're being surveiled and tracked. That EVERYTHING one does is being compiled into a dossier on that individual.

The fact that an agency can for instance plant child porn or seditious material on an individual's phone or computer and then charge and jail that individual if they want is beyond evil.

God only knows what else they are capable of.

These leaks should hit us in the head like a bat, but instead we make excuses and deny the truth.

You get what you get I suppose.

Remember folks, the truth is now the enemy.

Nothing like the corrupt CIA getting exposed.

Well, we can hope, but in some cases, those who leaked won't be around anymore. How many aids did Hillary lose again? Two, or was it three, dead under suspicious circumstances? For those DNC leaks, I'd say that was "resolved", as far as some are concerned. CIA leaks, now, that's far more serious. Lots of maneuvering will happen, I'd imagine, to try and stay hidden!

Is it just me? It seems this billion dollar boondoggle of an "intelligence" agency has been getting caught with its pants down since before the Bay of Pigs. Needs a serious overhaul. Find some non-Russian eastern European immigrants, ask them "Do you love America" and "Do you hate the Russians" and if they answer "Tak!" to both put them in charge of our intelligence services. After that then we might have an intelligence service we can be proud of.
