What lead you to discovering ATS?

I heard about it on Coast to Coast with Art Bell. I don't remember exactly what the subject was, but it was Art Bell that led me here... and I was hooked. Though I only commented anonymously until we had to join.

I sure miss Art Bell!

I happened to find ATS via a link someone posted in the comments section of an article I was reading. I followed the link and was intrigued by what I found. I have long been interested in many subjects that qualify as ‘conspiracy theories’. Bigfoot, Ufology, The KGC, Freemasons, government agencies, government cover up, you name it. So when I found this site, I felt like I had hit the jackpot!

I was a lurker for a long time then decided to actually join. I don’t post a lot but I do spend a good amount of time on the site reading.

Hidden Hand. The site that copied and transcribed the dialogue credited ATS. from there I checked out the site and at that time (2011?) I liked the paranormal fourm so I decided to stick around

A childhood friend of mine who used to post here as Mr. Mask told me about this amazing website where people actually think critically and engage in stimulating conversation.

I lurked for a bout a year ,liked what I saw and joined in 2010.

Wow, I wish I remember. Great question! This site has been one of my go tos for news and interesting ideas for years now.

I remember when, approximately, but not how. Sad.

A dear friend of mine told me about ATS. We used to sit and debate many of the topics found here.
I lurked for probably 10 years before deciding to join.

i lurked for like 3 years and on 2016 finnaly joined sad to see it overtaken by politics

I did a good bit of reading for a long time, years, before actually creating an account. As I recall, I was looking up information on some classic conspiracy or other, something like the Kennedy assassination, maybe. That sort, anyway. Came across this site, and found it interesting. Didn't join, then, as this was dial-up days, and I didn't do nearly as much online as I do now. All of the topics, and the different opinions, were quite interesting, and the site is a good place to research most topics in the field.

Odd, though, looking at my profile, I'd swear I'd joined before the date listed, by a few years! Guess not, but is sure seems that way.

The site would always come up on internet searches from the paranormal to cryptozoology and more. One day ended up joining, being a fan of forums decided to try it out.
