I can't wait for summer. I will actually have some time for home brewing then - i've got a scotch ale and two nut brown ale kits ready to go, just need yeast.

I'm also hoping to come up with an un-hopped Cherry-Almond stout recipe somewhere. I just need a few things to build my own Aussie-style "brew-in-a-bag" kit.

Well, the almond would mostly come from the meadowsweet, an herb that has an almond-like flavor (supposedly). It would absolutely be an experiment. I've only brewed one gruit before, and that was with a friend who's an expert brewer. This would be finding a cherry gruit stout recipe and changing the herbs slightly to accommodate the meadowsweet.
