How are you doing today? I'm actually reading your "Assimilate" thread at the moment. What's really weird is the other day the word "assimilate" popped into my head randomly and I wondered why.
Now I've found a thread written by a friend (and neighbour) whose thread is about that very word.

I'm here for a while, sleepy but happy to share a morning coffee (and *nom* donuts *nom*)

To me they are synchronicities, so I pay attention when it happens. I don't know why it happens, but sometimes I will even write it down for further investigation, lol.

I shared your drone video with a young man who is involved with the local youth suicide support group here and he found it very encouraging. Just the simple fact that he felt more confident about following his own interests instead of "following the crowd" and more confident that he could one day earn money from his passions.

We seem to be in for a few days of rain here, how's the weather in your neck of the woods?

Hey sorry for the late reply, got called out to check on something.
Today seems nice so far, however, the weather was horrible the past few days.
The city was pretty much shut down due to a 3 day long ice storm.
Roads closed, so people were literally slapping on ice skates and skating down the roads lol
I watched a few videos from people doing that sort of thing.

But like I said todays supposed to be nice, but then tomorrow and Tuesday are calling for more snow.
Soooo sick of snow!

This last winter was bizarre for sure, can't even imagine what the summer will be like.

This is a big country. Manitoba is really different from Ontario so I just tried to give my perspective.

Ahh...hahaha...you have no idea how funny that really was! (your comment about smelling Ontario)

I live in a small town surrounded by farms, and when I'm heading home from elsewhere I can tell I'm almost home by the overwhelming smell of "pig poo" in the air!

I have been to Montreal but it was years ago. My public school Quebecois studies left me barely able to communicate but at least I could ask where the bathroom was!
