No screaming, I just quietly jumped out of bed and ripped off my sweater. Turns out the little guy ended up on the bed next to Mrs. Shepherd. She's the one who did the screaming.

I live in Minnesota. Our state bird is actually not the common loon as has been incorrectly publicized, it is in fact the northern mosquito. Spiders and bats eat mosquitos. In Minnesota then - especially in little forested areas with small ponds like where I live - spiders and bats are your friends. Yeah they're creepy and crawly, but they are your allies in a much, much bigger war...

Since we're on the subject of spiders still. The last apartment I had was an upstars, it had a balcony and a little outdoor closet. I knew there was a black widow in this closet but I had been putting off killing it.

So me and my friend are outside chilling on the porch, sitting down and talking. I had a garbage can a little ways away from the closet door. I spat in between the gap, thinking it was empty because I didn't see anything there.

But instead of falling to the ground, my spit revealed a big, thick and completely invisible web stretching between the garbage can and the door! It wasn't even night time or anything. Needless to say we quickly retreated inside.

Course not, that would be far too logical for a nightmare, right?
It was actually a pair of women's jeans that were somehow tech-know and had greenboard in them. I picked them up by the cuffs and beat the crap out of them. But then I felt a tech-know blanket start to wrap it's creepy-blankety hands around my waist...


...and then I woke up and had to go to the bathroom. Not sure the two are related.

But that's what happened.
