I am just coming out of a 2-day really aggressive migraine and pukefest, so I only came to lurk briefly. I saw your post about Blue's birthday, and had to make him a thread...because it's what we do for our family.

Haven't been able to do any more reading but will be catching up on shlaw's Cat Book, Lucid's writing here and Shep's 'Falling' tomorrow morning. (still got sore eyes from migraine, shouldn't even be looking at the screen today, but pffft!...a little won't hurt, right?)

Oh, there are people in here. LOL! Sorry, I am sooooo exhausted. Might need a nap soon. If you hear snoring it's just me.

Folks, I'm still at the music festival. We had to cut short the entertainment tonight. My pal's son got knocked down and killed outside the pub. His brother Martin was playing in the band when we got the phonecall from the police. A horrible, sad, sad end to a brilliant weekend. He was only 22. Such a waste. Sorry, am rambling. I'm OK. Just very sad. G

Sorry, I maybe shouldn't have posted like we that. Not fair. I don't know what else to do, everyone's home now, but I'm here in my van. Can't sleep, so raising a wee glass to him. Seems so stupid and pointless but can't think of anything more helpful to do.
