That may be true, but only in certain areas. The differences between poor and rich in Slovakia are much greater than they are here. Per capita measurement is ineffectual when compared to the per head measure.

So do you support the migration of my two Slovak friends to the UK who are not from starving backgrounds?
Or do you criticise them as you criticise Ewok?

I criticise them if their intention was to feather their nest, rather than save it from extinction.

My friend moved to Spain recently. She did it for no other reason than mere whimsy, because she could. That is also fine. She intends to travel the world, something I also support, because it will further her understanding of the world, get her better educated as to the value of life, a thing so easily forgotten in this day and age.

The only people who need to be moving around for any other reason though, are those whose families would be unable to eat otherwise, or the families of unable to continue to live without being killed otherwise. But pissing off just because things have become too tough, in a first world nation? Bloody ludicrous. Massive parts of Slovakia are in third world circumstances right now, regardless of which way you look at the data, and I can utterly empathise with anyone wanting to get hold of some damned money from somewhere to save the lives of their children, but I utterly refute the need for someone who is comfortably off to do the same thing. It simply is not necessary.

Per Capita is per head......

So you don't support free movement of people in the EU then.
Again you contradict many many posts you've argued on ATS.
Now you only support migration if it is for a reason that meets your standards.
Make your mind up fella.

It simply is not necessary.?

Not necessary? If my girlfriend/ future wife is unable to get a visa to even visit WHAT ELSE ARE MY #ING OPTIONS OTHER THAN TO MOVE !?!

Typical libral hypocracys

Yeah you #ing traitor, you should stay and vote Labour as a 'true Brit' would!
Corbyn will let your woman in, and build you a house, and magic money up so the UK doesn't pay 40 odd billion a year servicing the interest on the national debt.
Your future kids will get free milk at school as well and it will be marshmallows and rainbows for all.

Lol I know we disagree much but you made me laugh out loud about that, someone had to say it, but I was busy dealing with the conundrum of supporting free movement of people, but only under certain circumstances.
It is not free movement of people when conditions of necessity are attached.

At least my opinion is consistent, I support all migration where the people wish it and the destination country sees a need for whatever they offer.
I also support massive aid for regional in situ support for refugees of war zones and the like.
I'd pay an extra penny or two in the Pound of income tax for that in a heartbeat.

If that is accurate, then I am afraid we have a problem, because there is NO way to measure the wealth of Slovakia per head, and come to any other understanding than the fact that a huge percentage of them are living lives so squalid and poverty stricken that they may as well be in the third world.

Vote for a government which will permit her to live here?

It seems pretty cut and dry to me.

Local food is cheap as #, in line with low wages, just rang both my Slovak mates and they say you are talking # about the starving to death bit.
Poor yes but starving no.

So again, do you support freedom of movement in the EU or only for those you deem 'desperate' enough?
Frankly, you've contradicted yourself so much I'm not sure even you know what you want lol

What?

Last I checked Corbyn has not even mentioned easier travel from Latin American Countrys!

And even if he did? It would still takes months or even years for it go go through parliment! This is not the USA! We dont change laws at the stoke of a pen!

And futher to the point that we are not stupid Americans, I do not and will not vote on a single issue like some dumb yank!
I will not vote for one policy I agree with it means accepting a a dozen I do not!

sorry sir, but I am packing my bags and pissing off!

I can see why North Korea refuses travel, lefties dont like people using there freedom and moving!

Its typical Labral logic. Full of holes and hypocrisy.

Same as Diane Abbot who sends her children to private school but stands as a socialist with corbyn.

liberal logic 101:

Everyone is equal but some are more equal than others.
Everyone is free, unless the state deems your freedom bad for your own good.
Everyone had freedom of speech, unless the state disagrees with it.
Everyone has freedom of movement but only if its in the states best intrests.

Well then, I can assume your chums are very lucky, and not paying a great deal of attention to their countrymen then. People have been starving to death in the poorest areas since at least 2004, but I guess you actually have to be there to accept the fact!

No, he has not mentioned travel from Latin America specifically.

However, he is not an anti-immigration, phobic piece of dross, like near enough everyone to the right of his position, including the current government, which makes him, by default, better for the country, and better for your situation.

What the # do you know?
Got any Slovak mates?

And answer the question, do you support free movement of people in the EU?
...or do you only support it if the people have a need to move which matches your criteria?

I support it if the people moving have a need to move which matches my criteria, because they are really bloody good criteria.

So you don't support free movement of people then, just free movement of people who match your criteria.
All your posts supporting free movement in previous threads are just bull#.
Consider yourself called out fella.

Its not me as a person or as a Brit TrueBrit cares about.

You see its the typical communist fear.

For him to have his "uptopia" of heavy socialism and allowing the dregs of Africa and the middle east to live here dossing about and generally stink up the place he needs skilled drones, like myself a scientist and teacher to provide the work to pay for all the welfare and vanity projects.

However when heavy socialism/ communism emerges the highly skilled such as myself see our quality of life being dragged down so we move. Doctors, teachers and scientists tend to flood out these countries, hence the need to build big walls to keep there populations in.
