Turkey is horribly educated, most education comes in the form of indoctrination.

They are pushing to be a muslim state. Now they have the vote to do it.

And the attempted Turkish coup seems like a good representation of what the Riechstag fire did for the Nazi's

Maybe we need this in our country. Everyone hates Congress. Everyone loves the military. Maybe we need a strong right wing military style dictatorship in this country! Then the government will finally get things done for a change.

This country needs a dictatorship like we need another hole in our heads.

HELL NO!

Oh yeah, it's been this way for some time but we may as well make it official. Fun fact, the President of Turkey is, used to be, mostly a ceremonial office but has now gone full blown Dictatorship.

It doesn't seem that anyone responding to the OP consider the possibility of a rigged election. I mean he had a purge a few months ago, has shut down the internet, jailed anyone in the press opposing him. Isn't there a chance he pre-printed the ballots?

I am wondering what took it so long. They must have needed some dust to settle from the coup.

Why ? Look at most of the Middle Eastern states either run by dictators or monarchy

Without meaning to stereotype but it's pretty clear that predominantly Muslim nations prepare to live under control to be told how to live as opposed to being free thinking

It's no different to the old Christian factions under control of the Pope in the middle ages

Religious people simply prefer to be controlled, they're nothing more than submissives

Ergdogan needed to look like he was in danger, I too am surprised this took so long. But now it's official.

Like Neo said, they need to be dropped from NATO like a rock in the ocean.

I hope you are aware how your post sounds to a german....

btw, leftovers from the marcomannic war that were not completely bombed away during and shortly after WW2 are still there in my region. Wooden guard towers and such. Just a 10 minute horseride.

Ah yes, here you are attacking Islam because of your own bigotry.

Fun fact about Turkey,

Because it is a secular country, the only Muslim country in the world that has no state religion, the Constitution guarantees religious freedom, and tolerance is the rule.

Ah, yes here you are defending an ideology started by a pedophile psycopath terrorist because of your bigotry against non-believers who want to defend themselves against it.

So you are claiming that Erdogan is not muslim and guided by islam?

Okay....

Fun fact, they just voted yes on a constitutional referendum, with Erdogan at the helm of it. Hence this thread.

looool me knowing anything about Turkey is irrelevant, im talking about the will of the people of Turkey, its for them to decide, they're the ones voting and they no whats good for them.
didnt you say this?

then again, I've met a lot of Turks. I guess I'm not surprised. They actually like this guy.
