14 Survival Uses for Lip Balm

I receive regular emails from this site and this one was sent to me
a few minutes ago.I have several tubes of lip balm in storage but I
never thought of using them for other then their intended purpose.

I didn't know that cats used lip-balm. lol

Although it mentions lubricant it left out rifle grease.

The last Japanese holdout from WWII kept his rifle functioning with coconut oil, storing his cartridges in animal fat. They were both still functional after decades.

Good reads his book about survival, guerrilla action, etc.

Great little find!

I especially like the emergency (birthday) candle and using it as a money stash when its done.

My biggest problem though is holding onto one for long enough so that I can use up its contents, always end up losing it way before I've finished it up.

Another tip I recommend if you want to survive the brutality of 18 holes on a links, smear a little lip balm on your golf ball.
When you hit the ball, the ball won't spin, it won't carry as far but will go straight, providing you hit it straight.

Great article!! I carry 3 different types of lip balm on my person and use all 3, I am an addict. Good tips, a lot of those made sense.
