I give you the Democrat brain trust, Sheila Jackson Lee…

Representative Lee has stated that the Constitution is 400 years old, North and South Vietnam are living side-by-side, and once asked NASA for a picture of the American flag on Mars.

Congress' Dumbest Member: Obama Already Fixed the Border

More Pearls of Wisdom from Congress' Dumbest

And then there’s Nancy “Mimi” Pelosi…

I didn’t know whether to include the truly dumb Nancy Pelosi on this list because she very well be mentally ill or suffering from dementia, but whatever the cause of her stupidity, she has stated that unemployment benefits create more jobs than any other program, when shilling for Obama’s now-failed “stimulus” bill claimed that every month the bill wasn’t passed 500 million Americans lost their jobs, once famously stated that she supported natural gas as an alternative to fossil fuels, and of course, the granddaddy of them all – we need to pass the bill (Obamacare) to know what’s in it.

Nancy Pelosi -- Just Dumb or Mentally Ill?

Meet Maxine Waters, mental midget…

With the exception of Barney Frank, no single politician was more directly to blame for the 2007/08 financial crisis. Along the way, she has repeatedly had to correct herself after slipping and using the terms “socialize” and “socialism” in relation to banks and other private sector entities, has continued to call Republicans (and everyone else who’s not a black liberal) “scumbags”, and stated that she has to march because her mother couldn’t have an abortion (?).

Maxine Waters: The IQ of a Tree Frog

Honorable Mention: Hank Johnson… This truly dumb waste of humanity claimed that if Guam had too many people on it the whole island would tip over and everything would fall into the ocean.

You can't make this stuff up, folks!

Feel free to add to this list of intellectual microbes.

Hank Johnson's concern that troops in Guam could "tip the island over," demonstrating that the man believes islands are nature's rafts, is still one of the most profoundly stupid statements anyone in any public leadership role has ever voiced.

Honestly -- not trying to make excuses for Representative Johnson, but he was clearly impaired (alcohol?) when he said that.

Still, unbelievably dumb!

I tried to keep this list to current members of Congress (Bachmann left in 2015 and Palin was governor of Alaska and VP candidate in 2008), but there's definitely enough "dumb" to go around.

I do not think that the US has cornered the market on stupid politicians. I would challenge all who read this to list the dumbest reps in their respective countries and provide evidence. While the US may have a lead, at present, I have every faith that other countries will soon be challenging the US lead.

Maxine Waters is pretty sure that Vladimir Putin Invaded North Korea.

And its disturbing that our country is in their hands.

I have to agree, the Guam comment, if you watch the whole thing, is pretty damm disturbing that people elected that genius to represent them. I love how the Navy Man doesn't even miss a beat responding.
