What Freedoms? The constitution is a spook, being told "how" to be free is not Freedoms and be able to use that piece of paper is not Freedoms.

Your definition of "freedom" is to impose the socialist idea. In countries like the U.S. you are free to disagree and voice your disagreement. In what you call "true socialist system" only socialism can exist and is imposed on everyone which makes it a dictatorship.

Marx himself stated:

The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism. Karl Marx

Read more at: www.brainyquote.com...

In order for "peace" to exist in the socialist model there can be no opposition to socialism. What it means is that anyone who opposes is an enemy of the collective/state. In various "socialist/communist" countries this has led to the assassinations/murders of millions of people, and the imprisonment of millions more for disagreeing with "the socialist idea"...

That piece of paper tells government what it can't do.

I'd suggest reading it sometime.

I'm ideologically anarchist, hate authoritarianism etc... however, where Marx failed as you said, with the transitional state, I think sudden lack of government would be equally brutal and wrong. The Constitution, could work very well with Bernie style Democratic Socialism.

A government free society that works is going to be the result of evolution and we can only get there in steps, not leaps.

time after time socialism/communism has shown it to be the most oppressive and criminal ideologies that have ever been thought of?

Socialist countries are not oppressive, or at least not any more oppressive than capitalist ones where government doesn't represent the people but only the wealthy.

Dictatorships are not socialist- they are dictatorships. They are two completely different things.

And capitalists are gigantic criminals, how can you pretend that capitalism is more moral than socialism when a socialist government operates on the principle of doing what's good for their people, and capitalism only cares about profits at any cost?

Try Venezuela.

Socialism has always had worse outcomes - but 100 years + of human misery and failure proves nothing, right ?

This sounds like the old toxic way of thinking. We need a new system, one where the leaders care about their people. Collectivism has its advantages over individualism, but only in a philosophical sense.
In the us we traded authoritarianism for unchecked corporatism, and consumerism.

First, not socialism, communism

second, communism, as I have stated, would be a community consensus and a horizontal system.

instead of this false representative democracy, it would be a more direct democracy.

if you as a community decided to have a Gift-Economy than you would work with that, those that didn't like it could join another community, if you didn't like the way a group consensus turned out you could leave the community and start your own if you really wanted.

it's about abolishing the State, Classes, Capitalism, Hierarchies, Patriarchies, Hierarchy etc which is Freedom from oppression

Corporatism exists because governments have gotten in the middle, implemented regulations to control businesses and have been playing favorites. Collectivism has no advantage unless you want to be part of a mindless herd.

When people thrive as individuals that prosperity is shared with others who in turn also prosper.

If you are a baker, your demand for flour allows farmers to prosper as they can sell more wheat or other grains or roots to millers . This in turn not only gives a job to millers but allows them to prosper from the demand of wheat. Consumers buy the product which allows for that country to prosper.

When governments get involved and play favorites with corporations, it blocks other businesses from competing.

Corporatism is a form of central control and the "heavy regulations" from governments makes sure there is less competition which allows for corporations to increase the value of their products.

Consumerism isn't bad... We all consume because we all need energy to be able to function.

So you were not a "consumer" under Obama and no corporations thrived under him?...

Chaos and debauchery is not the same as "freedom from oppression". I doubt you have any idea what "oppression" actually is.

As for "communism being a horizontal system", I have no idea what in the heck you are talking about. Perhaps you need to "sleep it off".

20 years ago, even mentioning "socialism" as a viable option for U.S. society would have been largely shunned, as even 20 years ago the U.S. people had much more sense than that.

The mere THOUGHT of promoting communism as a social norm in American society would have been instantly rebuked.

20 years later, however, socialism is the new accepted norm of society (mostly millennial youth) and communism is becoming more and more accepted. This is the fault of modern "liberalism" and the fault of every single teacher, parent, Hollywood hipster, college professor and BS the mostly liberal MSM spew out every single waking moment of our lives promoting it.

When the U.S.A. crumbles to the point of absolute insanity and total government control and oppression never before seen, don't forget this moment in history. It will be the time that the population not only ignored it and allowed it to happen, but actually encouraged it with thunderous applause.

I may be dead or close to it when your magical day of true anarchy happens, but I honestly can't wait to see the reaction of hipster anarchists and pro-communism cucks like you when your mad-max "utopia" actually comes to pass.

Just don't say I and others like me didn't tell you "I told you so".

I saw a video posted by the OP in another thread about Venezuela. Despite the label what was seen is that "socialism" in Venezuela is actually crony-capitalism.

The OP has also told me of having visited a part of Cuba where the wealthy live in mansions more luxurious than any that they had seen elsewhere inhabited by the well connected. Cuba's "communism" sounds a lot like crony-capitalism.

I know from having lived in the US that crony-capitalism is alive and well there.

Seeing a pattern here?

Maybe my tinfoil hat is on to tight.

LOL... It's that why 80,000 tons + of food were rotting in socialist government warehouses while people were going hungry in Venezuela?...

I guess the problems of Venezuela "have nothing to do with the redistribution and rationing that socialist/communist nations are known for"...

You still got that tinfoil hat on too tight and don't realize it...

BTW, not only did I see the houses of communist leaders in Cuba, I was born, lived and experienced life in Cuba as a Cuban.
