I ran into some different ones.
Just so we are clear, they don't say it is utopia but they don't sound like you...red scarfs???
That claim you made that there is no distinction in clasess within a socialist/communist regime is false.
I never made that claim. You might want to check that out. I wasn't even into the habit of saying that even before you told me about the mansions in Cuba. Now I just default to that.
If my family lost everything because of Castro he would seem one way to me. If they ascended within the Communist Party to become wealthy I might see him differently. ElectricUniverse admits that both of those experiences exist in Cuba.

What the Hell are you arguing then? You act like you agree, yet you still troll on.

The exaggeration. I agree with a lot of it but when someone posted a video of empty shelves at a grocery store I found another of a farmers market full of produce. Why not take in all the info you can.
Here is an article of Venezuelans crossing into Brazil to buy stuff
Venezuelans flood Brazil border in 36-hour grocery run
Now it sucks that they have to go to such measures but looking at it objectively, these people have money, they are free to leave venezuela and then they even decide to return to venezuela.
They obviously have the right to trade and I didn't see one person hauled off to the gulag and this isn't exactly a story that the venezuelan government can spin in their favor.

Socialism as we know it does fail miserably. I am not, nor have I ever defended it.
How am I going to convince you of something that I don't believe?

Mainly because they are the stuff propaganda is made of.
Today it is "they are suffering" tomorrow it's "they need liberating". Wnat CT is made of.
It's what I have found down the rabbit hole.

Not exactly, I'm not pissed off at all. I'm just pointing out the truth admitted by Mussolini, all states are a merger of corporate and government power. Everything under them is under their control. The differences although important, can be minimal.
Propaganda tells you should count your lucky stars, maybe even shut up and take it, because you don't want to end up like "them".
Then come the exaggerations to instill fear.
Why not just look for the truth, accept the bad and acknowledge when it isn't as bad as we have been led to believe?
