I get the impression that Dear Leader is so insane he's still watching 1940s newsreels to gather intelligence on the US. He might send up some fireworks or a bomb from Russia, but he won't get far.

Without any real track-record of military successes; overtaking South Korea for starters would give them greater resources and more man-power.

If NK thought they could make right with might they may have had aspirations decades ago...

They couldn't much break free from their supreme dictator of a paper bag hence, they are weak.

All the propaganda bits they use are animation and fantasy cartoons, in my estimation.

So the truly innocent ones really have no clue the reality of the situation.

Not counting soldiers and military asset's, there are more than 10 US citizen's to every North Korean citizen never mind the US allies, there are nearly 4 Chinese (from Communist China) to every US citizen but once again that is not reading all the numbers of the US allies, there are slightly more than Two US american's to Every Russian, back in the Cold war the Soviet population was about a 4th larger than the US but that included the population of the entire warsaw pact and once again that was not figuring in all the NATO allies and there population which when added made there over all numbers higher.

US and it's allies, current Population of the EU which includes the British population currently is about half a billion, china has just over a billion citizen's, so add that half a billion to the US 340 million or so and you have over 800 million in those two groups' alone not including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and other potential allies of the US in a serious war, the world would be split down the middle by the numbers of citizen's on both side's and of course in any war it would be the citizen's that ultimately suffered even if they were opposed to it.

China has more soldier's but less advanced technology, even there leading tech with stolen data from the US is probably more than twenty five years behind the ultra secret US cutting edge technology's and China as only been able to catch up because non top secret IC's etc are outsourced for manufacture in China, which itself is a serious tactical error and should have been treated as potential espionage and indeed treason on the part of the corporation boss' that ordered that as a cost cutting exercise, all those IC's should really be getting produced in the US silicon valley and in Europe but greed drives the internationalist's agenda and always will.

What we see here is not just down to Tin Pot NK dictator's and Cannibal (Apparently some members eat young woman and even children believing in the supposed medicinal property's of eating other human being's, it is bull crud of course eating other human being's spreads strange diseases and offer's no nutritional benefit compared to animal protein, they are an extreme minority in China though and just as shocking to the majority of Chinese as they are to us - but they do exist and so too do occult sicko's in our hierarchy's such as Skull and Bone's, Bullingdon club in the UK etc) communist party Chinese ruling elite but it is actually far more down to the greed of corporate head's and greedy share holders.

There will either be a nuclear war in the next 5 years OR as the Islamist gain nuclear ordnance one is definite to come about within the next 20 years, we are actually in far more danger from Islamist nuclear terrorist's in my opinion and believe they will use them if they gain them, Pakistan is an exception because they are aiming there's at India while India are aiming there's at Pakistan and India would wipe Pakistan off the map while they would perhaps survive such an exchange, Saudi are an exception because there corrupt and vile princes get away with all manner of human right's abuse and live far beyond the level there camel (and slave) trading ancestors did simply by selling Oil to the US and the rest of the West but that will change as Oil eventually makes way for other energy sources.

thats funny could you imagine Koreans getting out a row boat. If they landed in LA area they wouldn't last one night as if anyone wants to be in LA after dark.

Realistically. Nope.

Technically. If they stole a bunch of cargo ships and loaded them full of troops and supplies. Maybe.

But without escorts from warships. Those ships would be sitting ducks for our navy and air force.

They're safe in their mountain retreats. Just like Afghanistan, one must consider the terrain. Its nearly all mountains and valleys, the hardest place to fight wars. Plus the Chinese and Russians got their back.

The problem facing the uS is how to take all those mountain passes, just like in Afghanistan.

The narrow roads always follow the valley floor, HillBilly Mujahideen made rubbish of the Russian convoys, so would the North Koreans.

(Canada, like Russia, is such a huge landmass that it would be impossible to invade from ground.)

Why would they bother to invade? ...For what? The resources are all gone - the air, land and water are all poisoned - there is nothing of value left. If they're not aggravated, they'll just leave the US alone until it expires on its own. Push hard enough, they might speed things up. But invade? No.

They could deploy submarines if they have more than one. While not an "invasion", per se; They could try to hang close to the continental US but most likely limited to conventional weapons at this juncture... In any case, what a game of "Whack a Mole" that would be, with our ASW capabilities.

Absolutely not. We aren't targeting NK because they are a threat to the US, but because they are a threat to our allies in the region, like South Korea and Japan. They are the ones who want Kim gone the most.
