There are a few sources stating that they are evacuating 600,000 less desirable people to ensure places are secured for loyal citizen in bomb shelters.

Reportedly, Pyongyang's bomb shelters will not be able to accommodate the entire population of the North Korean capital. Therefore, 600,000 people - mostly individuals with criminal records - will have to leave Pyongyang to let others use bomb shelters.

That's equally creepy as my mass suicide theory because one wonders where these 600,000 "undesirables" would be "evacuated" to and what would be done to them once there.

The problem with that is korea harshly punishes "less desirables" . If your not loyal you and your family will be sent to a prison camp for reeducation. Why would they allow 600,000 unloyal people to be free??

He is making sure to bunker in with only his most faithful followers and nothing else.

He really doesn't have many of that kind in this country, that is why he even killed his own brother.

Anything is possible with this nutball! I have a feeling that if this "evacuation" proves to be true, whatever the reason for it, one way or the other it's not going to end well.

I guarantee that Kim Jong-Un is not even in North Korea at the moment, he's probably hiding somewhere in Europe.

Interesting theory.
I'm sure he would blame the great Satan for it and they would believe every word.

I don't think that North Korea is a theocracy.

Don't think the bubble boy feels too secure outside of his safe space of NK.

Heh heh -- thing is, he's such a weird-looking little spud, I doubt there's anywhere on Earth where he wouldn't be recognized.

He could be on one of their subs, I suppose.

I think you have to understand the psychology of fear, the main reason any reasonable human would put up with the present regime is that they fear for their kids. They know if they dissent, its not just them going to the slave labour camp its whole family.. On the surface the capital is a happy stable socialist democracy, but its driven by fear. Take this away and the whole regime collapses into insignificance. That's the most likely reason China has the troops on the northern border, because when it starts the human wave will take a lot of controlling.
The whole thing has to be handled carefully, Lil Kim has a massive standing army, but when they are all at battle stations no body is in the fields gathering food. A few weeks on high alert will seriously destabilise the regime. Lil Kim knows this and wouldn't risk a long drawn out affair. By feeding the troops first means starving the rest .If theirs a welcoming face and a hot meal waiting in Seoul, its all over for Lil Kim and he knows it.

So this story wasn't fake news than?

Well, that is pretty alarming. Wtf could he be preparing for?
Maybe he will see if Trump was being serious with his warning to NK,
by doing a nuke test this weekend.

I guess we will see how this unfolds

As other members here have correctly pointed out, this story comes from Pravda -- which shouldn't be an automatic disqualifier, but it is only one source.

That being said, I have a bad feeling that if this "evacuation" story is true on any level, it will end with horrible results.

I am quite certain that to one degree or another, Kim Jong-un is mentally compromised and likely capable of just about anything.

my thoughts exactly.
Not only that, his people have access to the internet via smart phones now.
If they read or hear about their " Supreme leader" backing down in the face of war, they may realize, Lil Kim isnt as mystical as he has claimed. So perhaps there may be an uprising.

Knowing this, Kim has his back to the wall. And is damned if he does and damned if he dont.
