The reason that America won vietnam war is cause we couldve anihilated that country at any moment but we chose not to. We showed them mercy by pulling out. Are victory couldnt be any clearer.

Oh so the french surrender in 1940 means the french lost, does it? The way I understand it is they chose not to allow there city to be destroyed and there civilians killed. Choosing to surrender seems rather victoriuos in that situation. Sometimes it takes a big man's mentality to be willing to seem like a small man in the ring.

Actually there long term goal they did win. Short term they left before the final ending. Long term they are a mini clone of the USA socialism died and the became capitalist. I dont think people realize just how americanized vietnam has become. They use US currency they buy US weapons most speak english even some signs and billboards are in english. And we have a defense agreement with them well 2 actually Memorandum of Understanding on Advancing Bilateral Defense Cooperation in 2011 and the U.S.-Vietnam Joint Vision Statement on Defense Relations signed in 2015. So yes the US won it just took along time.

And if every country in WW2 had that attitude then the world would be speaking German, Japanese and Italian.

Thank god the British, Russians, USA, Canadians, Chinese, Australians and New Zealand didnt have that attitude and fought.
