House Republicans are filing criminal charges against former IRS director Lois Lerner

House GOP lawmakers have compiled a damning case and have presented it to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and unlike Loretta Lynch, who stonewalled the prosecution, Sessions is said to be excited about pushing the “very strong” case forward.

From the OP.

Lois Lerner interfered with US elections by harassing certain organizations and denying them tax exempt status for political reasons.

Democrats keep pushing their fabricated Russia story, but they are hypocrites. They have used corruption to affect elections in so many ways, including against Bernie Sanders, using the MSM, etc.

From what I can find, only 2 GOP'ers are asking Sessions to look into her case, but no one is filing charges against her. Again, you're pushing BS.

2 GOP'ers are bringing it up because of partisan politics.

I understand that as a liberal, you don't understand.

Let me help.

It doesn't take a majority vote of the house or senate to get an investigation going.

It takes someone from the house or senate to ask that the Attorney General investigate the possibility of wrongdoing, then it is up to Sessions to go forward with it or not. They do not have to, as you so simply put it, file charges.

It takes one person to ask, one to reply.

Hope that helped.

They have filed charges or "are" going to?

I'm all for going after corruption, but let's be honest about it.

What formal charges have been filed?

It's about time, that should have been done right after it happened. That kind of thing cannot be happening in our country, not by any party.

The Woman who got Trump elected.

She needs to answer for her actions.

I know she will never see a jail.

I have to admit the OP gave me if just for a second.

The feeling the law applies to everyone.

Here's a less biased source for what is going on. The Hill

Two top Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee are asking the Department of Justice (DOJ) to review evidence against the former IRS official at the center of the 2013 political-targeting scandal.

In a letter sent Wednesday, full committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-Texas) and tax-policy subcommittee Chairman Peter Roskam (R-Ill.) urged Attorney General Jeff Sessions to take a "fresh look" at the evidence against Lois Lerner "in order to assure the American people that DOJ’s prior investigation was handled fairly and to restore taxpayers’ trust in the IRS."

Why are you always pushing propaganda? Don't you like the truth?

Title is misleading as all Hell and I have to agree with other posters - this is fake news. What OP is suggesting is not what the article says.

It's funny how people do that to fit their narrative and push their agenda. It goes to show what their true motives are, and clearly, it has nothing to do with denying ignorance.

Just partisan politics. You don't believe she did anything wrong. Got it.

Interesting thing, Sessions can look into it with zero senators asking.

I bet you couldn't find one senator that will admit to asking the DOJ to start the Fast and Furious program.

Please let us know how it goes when you contact the editor and all.

Crying just to pretend to be relevant is quite sad, even for you.
