He may be missing a couple teeth, have a broken nose, and a concussion, but I think he would do well without the sensationalism.

It sickens me that no one got involved to help that man when he was being criminally assaulted. If I was there and saw that I would have given a serious nut kicking to the guy who was dragging him, even at the expense of myself being charged. I can't watch someone be assaulted and not defend them, but I can sleep at night knowing what it means to live with honor. Our society has become honor less, and because of that is the very reason pigs are abusing people like this. They wouldn't do that if they knew the public wouldn't stand for it.

Haha sometimes I swear to god your the only smart person hear! Oviously the jerk should of gotten off the plane if he did than he wouldnt of had to be roughed up. I sure wish the snowflakes would stop crying over this criminal who refused to get off the airplane when ordered to. If someone tells yuou to get off the airplane than youd better get off the airplane. Its private property not a choice and i dont care if your a paying customer or not. I have no patience for stupidity during a wartime crisis like this.

Lol he didn't have a bomb you know!
What country are you from anyway? This country is a place we all equally deserve respect and are not DRAGGED unless we commit a crime.

I have no doubt that after the lawyers are done with united they will sue the city of Chicago, it was Chicago city employees who did the actual beat down.
Chicago is already a financial mess a lawsuit like this will bankrupt the city.

Funny thing though now we have the public wishing this kind of abuse on their own. Like I said before it must be all the fluoride!

He was a pill Doctor. A convicted felon.

That said, his treatment was off the charts.

His payday finally came in...maybe he can expunge his record now. lol

As funny as this seems to you, the airline sold him a ticket, and boarded him,
Thereby entering into a legal contract with the passenger.
If the airline profiled him, they could be charged with crimes.

United would be wise to put the shovel down.

The stories coming out on this guy ... fondling his Office Manager's genitals for drugs??

I've read them, who knows if they are true or its just piling on.

If it had been me, I would have gotten off the plane
and pursued it from there, also would give the same advice
to anyone I know....for obvious reasons.

If United was smart at all, they would have immediately
got this off the news cycles, too late now.

I have a feeling the stories about how "bad" the man
is are only going to make it worse for them. Especially
if United is found to be behind it in any way.

Meh, it's clear United found that story quick and then got Dao's name (and his wife's name) to the media before he even had a chance to come forward himself. I think they skirted federal regulations doing that and it's going to be the reason they will want to settle and bigly. United may have managed to sway ignorant public opinion a bit -- people that don't stop to wonder how the media got his name -- but they killed any chances of winning at a trial.

They'll settle quick.

And ... I agree with your earlier statement ... you and I are never going to hear what the settlement ground down to. My bet: at least 8 figures.

Ok, I am going to say it.

What are the odds that they randomly picked this man?
His wife was already boarded with him.

They said they let a computer pick the victims,
something stinks, am I the only one thinking this?

Ok, so the list for most horrific global events now goes:

1. Holocaust
2. WW2
3. David Dao being dragged off a plane
4. Vietnam War

Got it

What would the odds have been that three of the four people randomly picked to be de-planed were Asian?

You are Definitely not the only one.

all the security guys had to do was lift up the danged armrests! oh, ya, they easily life up, no reason to go slamming the guy's head onto them!

You do realize that they happened simultaneously?

The strangest thing is that he supposedly was already removed from the plane but somehow managed to get past security and was able to reenter the plane, and then this incident occured.
