I'm confused... I remember back in 2013 or 2014 that there was supposed chemical weapons attacks against Syrian civilians by their own government. The
US was pushing to go to war back then, but the people convinced congress not to vote to go to war.
Then, what seemed all-of-the-sudden, at least according to US news, ISIS/ISIL appeared and started really wreaking havok and we suddenly had to do...
something... maybe. Somewhere inbetween there the US also supposedly funded/armed ISIS/ISIL because they opposed the Syrian government... and we all
know the enemy of our enemy is our friend, right? Right...?
So bombs have been dropped and ISIS was still a problem and then somehow enough refugees start flooding from the single, small country of Syria into
European and North American countries and some of those 'refugees' are causing a problem, but not allowing any of them into your country is racist.
These are the population of one small country in the middle east and there's how many countries taking them in now? Now out of nowhere, we're back to
chemical weapons being used by the Syrian government against it's own people and the US is beating the war drums again.
What the actual $&@# is happening?

Edit: I may be off topic, I may have read too deeply into the OP in ways they did not intend, and then got carried away with my own thoughts. Sorry if
that's the case.
